For now, i think holding gloves have nothing to worry.
But still have observe carefully for the pattern/trend
COVID started in China around Dec. They get it control around May. (around 6 months)
Italy on Feb. They get it almost under control now. (possibly another one or tewo month for it to drop to double digit)
US on March. Now the daily cases in UK is dropping despite the riot. If by Sept, the cases are under control. (previously used to be more than 30k per day)
May be can say it take about 6 months to induce herd immunity.
But I'm not the expert in the field. I'm just observing the daily cases trend.

From what i knew, sand export is not as simple as that.

If u look at the GENM latest quarter:

For gaming revenue, it is 1400 million. (in which half of it was contributed by Malaysia)
Non gaming revenue is only 467 million.

Just personal feeling as a shareholder at that time (i dispose all the share at loss), i felt they don't really care about other investor.

From my understanding, they sell gloves. But they are no longer involve in glove manufacturing.

It was in the news on year 2017.

Let say shopee is not selling undervalue glove, does that mean the price that Mr Koon used in his blog is overvalue?

Is shopee selling undervalue gloves?
The assumption that Mr Koon used in gloves is latex glove USD 0.2 and nitrile glove USD 0.35.
In shopee, one box of latex glove is RM16-20 (1 box has 100pcs of gloves), which mean RM 0.016-0.020 per pc rather than USD 0.2 per pc.
One box of nitrile glove is RM20-35, making it RM0.02-0.35 per pc rather than USD 0.35 per pc.

Why is that so much price difference? Does that mean if I buy in here in huge quantity and sell in US can get me triple the profit?

If ur entry price same as caravan capital (0.24), that would be great.
But the price now already increase by 37.5% from the time caravan capital bought.
(0.33-0.24)/0.24=37.5%
Just be careful if company earning cannot outgrowth the share dilution.

Current NOSH: 308 million (that would mean around 760 million share not converted yet)

If we look at
19Q1: net profit: 5 million (EPS: 4.56)
20Q1: net profit 6.8 million (EPS: 2.33) (*although net profit increases, earning per share reduced significantly due to share dilution)

If more and more share converted, PE ratio will increase significantly unless it can obtain more project.

This counter is not for ppl with weak will. If u hold, u must be able to withstand an uglier quarter report to come. (for 2nd quarter)

Resume flight does not translate into profit
If the money u collected (number of passenger ) less than ur operating expenses, u r still doing a losing business.

I wouldn't buy unless next quarter result show it could survive.

Just look at previous airasia quarter report.
It has net cash of 2.6 billion. (last quarter)
Operating expenses last quarter: 3.4 billion.

Just take current quarter,
let say they manage to cut operating expenses by 30%=2.4 billion.
And u try to figure out how much business they have for this few months.

If airasia didn't end up in debt, i would say it is a big success already.


There is reason why airline fall one by one. Do u still think all other fallen airline unable to survive because of their management and brand... Do u think Warren Buffet sold all his airline share out of emotion....

Cutting production to raise oil price does not necessary mean they gain profit.
Just imagine:
U sell X amount with Y price to meet Z profit.
In order to increase Y price 2 fold, u reduced X amount by 2.
At the end, ur profit is still Z.

As long as oil demands issues (COVID)not addressed, the profit is hard to go up.

I will still fly, mainly to visit family member.
Was posted in East Malaysia to work and have to travel back to west Malaysia on/off to visit family member especially during festive season.
Some of my friends used to fly every month back to hometown to visit family member, now can't due to MCO.

I had check the recent flight ticket (from sabah to KL), it's very expensive. Not really sure they increase the ticket price or many ppl want to fly....

it will continue to benefit if oil price continue to be below 35.
But, it is double edge sword. What if oil price continue to increase more than 35?
Latest oil price is increasing day by day. All government is cutting down oil supply so that oil industry can continue to survive and easing of MCO (which will increase oil demand) everywhere to boost economy.
