Sunway today (19 Sep 2024) closed at RM4.38. Its all time high is RM4.42. Can it make a new all time high?

Gamuda all time high is RM8.49. Still got at least RM8.49 - RM8.15 = RM0.34 to go up.

SunCon all time high is RM5.18. Still got RM0.64 to catch up from RM4.54 closing price of today (19.09.2024).

Singapore stock market heading to 17-year high on US 0.5% rate cut.

The real bull run is finally here in Bursa Malaysia for property and infrastructure companies as the import of building and construction materials becomes cheaper because of a weaker USD compared to RM.

The reduction of interest rate will benefit property, infrastructure, utility companies while lower interest rates can present challenges for banks.

YTL Comm mempunyai 2,700 menara komunikasi di sekolah di seluruh negara. Bayaran sewa bulanan hanya RM10 sebulan sedangkan sewa pasaran harus RM2,000 sebulan. Yang lebih menghairankan ialah bil elektrik dibayar oleh pihak sekolah dan YTL Comm boleh menggunakan menara telekomunikasi itu untuk tujuan komersial lain. Berdasarkan gambar foto, menara komunikasi itu dibina tidak melebihi 10 m daripada bangunan sekolah dan radiasinya akan membahayakan pelajar dan guru. YTLP and YTL will have a tough time going forward. Although the US job reports are fine but it will warrant the Federal Reserve to cut the interest rate by only 0.25% and not 0.50% which many are hopefull for. Nasday now (10:30.pm) is down by around 1%.

Actual numbers: 142,000 jobs created and 4.2% unemployment. It is OK. So, Federal Reserve will only cut interest rate by 0.25% only and not a big 0.50%.

Numbers of last month to beat: 115,000 jobs created and 4.3% unemployment.

Numbers expected: 165,000 jobs created and 4.2% unemployment.

What if toninght, the US job report is not what the Wall Street wants? Now, temporary Nasdaq futures is down by 1.05%

VLE Frog is no longer in used. Just like graphic calculators, Geometer's Sketchpad and i-think (all are dumped). For VLE Frog, all teachers and students are given a password. Teachers are required to assign exercises using this programme to students 10 years ago. Now we use Geogebra. After 10 years, now only claim that there is a possible corruption involved.

02.09.2024 Monday: After rising to a high of RM7.73, it dropped back to RM7.55, for a mere 5 sen rise. Sold at RM7.59.

Today (30.08.2024) is a roller-coaster trading day for Gamuda. Big swing between 7.28 and 7.52. It closed at 7.50 (recovered 12 sen) from the 40 sen crash of Thursday (29.08.2024).

Gamuda does not announce results in August. It will annouce its results on 27 September 2024 (Friday). Based on the trend, its 4th quarter results will usually better than the first three quarters. In this case, it might be a record high earnings. It is in conjunction with the interest rate reduction by the US Federal Reserve on 18 September 2024 (19 September 2024, Thursday, in Malaysia time).

Now we know the reason why Nvidia share drops. Although the result beats expectation, but the margin of the beat is small, not big enough as investors are hoping for. Anyway, I think Notion has found its bottom at RM0.88.

Gamuda dropped a hefty 40 sen to RM7.38 (29 August 2024).

As at 7:00 am, Nasdaq futures opens at negative 1.23% while S and P opens at negative 0.7%. Blood bath today for all stocks except the banking sector. The sky high KLCI index now is false, trying to cover up the whole market negative sentiment.

Nasdaq futures closed at -1.75% at 5:00 am. Very confusing. Let's see at 7:00 am how?

Nvidia after hours share price dropped by 5.7%. Really confusing.

Nvidia reported earnings that beat expectation. But why its after hours share price is dropping? Reaĺly confusing. They said it is "priced in" which means "sell on news".😥

I spent a few days to study the FA of JCY, I just cannot be convinced that Rev=903 million, PAT=254 million.
I talk with facts and figures, I check all angles before I write it here.

FY 2022, Rev=835 million, PAT= -91 million loss.
FY 2023, Rev=475 million, PAT= -90 million loss.

I agreed that there are big demands for HDD, I accept the Rev=903 million (90% higher than FY 2023), but not PAT=254 million which is higher than Rev=1.700 billion, PAT=200 million in 2010.

Please note that JCY suffered a loss of 91 million and 90 million in FY 2022 and FY 2023 respectively.

Will crash next Monday (26.08.2024)

Since 13.08.2024, almost all the related data centre counters starts to drop including GAMUDA, SUNCON & IJM. YTLPOWER previous 3rd quarter results was disappointing. I am afraid the coming 4th quarter results will be disappointing as well. Better wait until it forms a solid base before buying back.

Initially, Synergy looks great. But today's (14.8.24) loss making quarter results will make it down the hill.

@ Vicky: Another matter is the imminent attack by Iran on Israel. Why no one mention about this risk?

If you are holding the at the price lower than tomorrow's gap up opening price, then fast-fast sell to the Buy Q buyer at the opening minute.

Please take VICKY's advise. Do not chase the gap up opening. Now it is based on extremely bad and nervouse sentiments. It will open gap up and slowly it will turn red.

The 1st support at 3.90 is broken. The next support is at 3.50, followed by 3.35. Today closed at 3.62.
