The legendary guy who bought TOPGLOV & held for 10 years is back, investing in his circle of competence in glove companies.

The same guy who heaped praised on SERBA a few years ago, throwing Choivo Capital's caution to the wind.

Now, he suggests that HARTA's 2 BILLION EARNINGS PER QUARTER should last for another 1 or 2 years! Yet, his intrinsic value is only 10B USD or RM40billion or RM12.34 by 2025?

Poor reception for this article of mine.

Let's see what are the possible reasons:
1. Too long & hard to read.
2. No stock tips like last week.
3. No label for any stock.
4. People hate me for alternative views against Tradeview.
5. I don't promote my article incessantly like Calvin Tan.
6. No clickbait.
7. I'm not as credible as KYY, kcchong, Tradeview, Philip, etc.

EPF already held at least 3.7% of KGB according to its latest Annual Report prior to this announcement. Upping their stake to 5% statutory threshold doesn't mean much. It's not like they up their stake to 10% or something.

From an undervalued fundamental stock, Kobay has been cornered by groups to become a speculative stock.

In hindsight, Hartalega did fulfil the first 4 metrics in this article.

But the 5th metric was a blunder. A lethal mistake.

As you can see, Philip's lacklustred investment in Serba does NOT hurt his finances.

But what about the common folks? The B40, M40 followers of Philip that hero-worship him, after reading his stories of holding Topglove & QL? Would they be able to escape unscathed after buying into Serba after reading Philip's Serba articles in the past?

21 years ago, AHEALTH was first listed on the Second Board with around 100 mil in market capitalisation.
21 years later, AHEALTH became one of the most consistent profitable companies on Bursa Main Market with about 1 bil in market capitalisation.

Hats off to such an outstanding Malaysian company. May the next 21 years be even better.

This is probably the 1st time in recent years that a Malaysian PLC has ever gone this far to defend itself and fighting against a Big 4 accounting firm. Assuming the action succeeds, there will be huge impact on Big 4 accounting firms. How can accounting firms remain professional and independent when there's always a looming risk that a PLC will use legal action against you if you don't live up to expectations?

Uncle Philip, I have no idea how you buying Serba correlates to your story of The Dog.

The Dog was silly to try to be a Dragon, to go out of its capabilities, out of "circle of competence". But then again, had The Dog not tried and fail, it wouldn't land itself in a better situation.

So, you're saying if investors don't try to catch the bottom, they won't enjoy the technical rebound of Serba like you did?

I remember how you vilified Jon Choivo when he pointed out some issues he found on Serba then. Had you not attacked him ferociously, forcing him to tone down his thesis, more investors would have taken more notice of such risks in Serba. I'm sure some investors following your total conviction on Serba would have lost substantial amounts of money and in limbo now.

My guess for you writing this article is if Serba is found innocent, you'd chide others who didn't buy during discount day. And in the event Serba is found guilty (if ever), then you'd say, hey I didn't expect it to be that way, not my fault.
