Opensys- chap pa lang IT service provider, manufacturer, exporter importer, etc, etc..most impressive result in the latest QR reported EPS >1.00....clap...clap... another very SOUND choice...

2018 doesn't looks favourable to HY judging by their own comments..especially the final quarter...this coincides with mounting uncertainties in DOW this year...guess many will take profits and smell the roses.

To the naysayers...It's easy to zap someone's mistake...but is anyone brave enough in your camp to present his calculations and predictions for all to scrutinise here.??

Still respect the likes of FutureEye and Probability and Davidlim for sharing their predictions and analysis...especially FutureEye...he was very close twice. If we read the report carefully, QR4 was not poor...but the management's comments about QR4 performance and for the rest of the year will make investors doubtful, thus further selling pressure is not surprising. The dividend could be read as trying to reward investors amidst their heavy financial commitment or shutting them up since they have been wishing for dividends with 2 sens...20 sens would have been more respectful for a company making such huge profits.

I'm interested to see if some diehard HY supporters will advise to sell only after they cut losses/cut wins quietly.... must charge and retreat together ma right? The last battle was not a good example.... some men were left behind.... I'm not in the army though.....just an observer.

Petdag's EPS only 28 sens...if HY HUMBLY doubles that quarterly, then modestly speaking, HY share price should at least be on par with them...but frankly speaking, HY share price should be higher than them.

A respected US stock analyst believes that the DOW S&P will rebound to even 3100 when this correction is over... he encourages US investors to prepare a shopping list and prepare to buy ....the same attitude should be adopted here.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 6): To entice interest in Bursa Malaysia, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak announced a three-year waiver on the stamp duty on shares of mid- and small-cap companies on Bursa beginning March 2018, whereas margin financing rules will soon be liberalised.

The stock exchange has amended the regulated short selling to allow all investors to conduct intra-day short selling. Intra-day short selling is only permitted for licensed proprietary traders on Bursa.

Meanwhile, Bursa will introduce a six-month waiver on trading and clearing fees for new investors on the capital market and a volume-based incentive programme.

Details on the implementation of these measures will be announced in a few weeks time, according to Securities Commission chairman Tan Sri Ranjit Ajit Singh.

The DOW plunge seems more like a concerted effort by traders to drive stocks down to create buying opportunities....after all the bull run there has lasted for more than a year....the KLCI had been a laggard in the region....just when it is picking up steam with some feel good factors like CNY and elections, DOW has to rain... just timing... nothing wrong with fundamentals for both malaysia or even US stocks.....US stocks are said to be "overbought" and overvalued....Bur HY with PE below 5 and industry standard overvalued? Nah...but still we'll be pressed down to create a golden opportunity to buy cheap before QR4...no need RSS this time..the F**cking RSS made HY looks like it has gone through a E5 tornado...after the destruction, rebuilding seems painstakingly slow.

DOW down 1175...HY could be aggressively pressed down again by trader today...gap down could be larger than yesterday's...punters will be cold sweating and running for cover... there will be no more punting in this counter for a long while.

Nobody seems to notice that HY gapped down the most among all counters today...68 sens that is...why? U think they will let the opportunity to buy cheap go tomorrow? So yes...good chance will slip further... and dun think that lady white knight is going help I push the price up...what disgusts me most is the damage the recent RSS did to HY's smooth climb ascension...I notice even penny stocks are RSS approved...should they? Kesm was sold down to below 18 today but recovered on the same day...short selling should be settled on the same trading day...is it practiced here..and they can key in their sell bid at any price and wait for buyers...this can easily be manipulated to cause panic isn't it!!!
