Sunway has the ICEAW course.
People may not know.
Please, if you have smart children....make sure they take this course.
They can start after Form 5 even.
And guaranteed job from the Big 4 after 2 years study (2.5 years for Form 5 students) starting pay $3000. The ICEAW course is mostly self study, that is why it is very very cheap.
every University student will fight hard to get a $3,000 job but will mostly fail.
Sunway also has the CFA course, mostly self study, also very very cheap but only for graduates.

too much focus on forex gain, core profits etc....not enough focus on what is really going on....ie margin expansions, management and business model is the downfall of lazy analysts.

on Vietnam wages., recently I gooogled the ILO wages report. I was totally fascinated.
Vietnam wages at 1/3 of Malaysia and China average wages actually already higher than Malaysia.
fascinating stuff.
I love it when Malaysian companies go to Vietnam to expand...get involved in the fastest growing economy in the world...like Latitude Tree, This Chinwell, Keinhin....many many others... This are the smart guys.
If you can tap into the growing Vietnam market, even better.

mr let itgo.....
forex gains and losses arises from booking difference. The rates assets and liabilities were fist booked and the realised values.
That is not the real story.....
The real story is in margin expansions of exporters as Ringgit suddenly plunged and as the become more competitive.
and PL for Dec Quarter will put the Sept Quarter to shame.

for forex issues................I like to refer readers to this that I wrote a few days ago..............
"
Tell you what.
All export counters had a good run based on earnings growth of Sept Q. A look at the US$ to ringgit chart will tell you that Sept Q only got one month above 4 ringgit, however, the December quarter got all 3 months above 4 ringgit.
You see, revenue in ringgit terms is based on the average of the 3 month sales. With a full 3 months of of ringgit above 4, the earnings of December ending quarter of the exporters is going to explode upwards compared to the Sept ending quarter .
The next quarter results ending Dec is going to put the Sept ending earnings to shame.
You want to miss the fun just because of world news ?
so, run away or stick around?
big winners make big decisions. "

"27,000,000 ordinary shares of RM0.50 each (“Chin Well Shares”) were issued pursuant to
the general mandate granted at the last AGM of the Company and the aforesaid shares was issued in conjunction
with the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Asia Angel Holdings Limited for a total purchase consideration of
RM47.46 million, fully satisfied via a combination of issuance and allotment of 27.0 million Chin Well Shares and the
balance via cash amounting to RM8.31 million."
I also a shareholder. But I am very positive with the acquisition of Asia Angel, not negative like you.
"Firstly, the Group successfully acquired the balance of 40%
interest in Chin Well Fasteners (Vietnam) Co. Ltd (CW Vietnam) by purchasing the entire share capital of Asia Angel Holdings
Limited (Asia Angel), which owns the 40% stake. This move enables the Group to fully-consolidate the earnings from the
high-growth CW Vietnam, which serves the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) fastener segment.
Secondly, the Group made a strategic decision to venture into the production of downstream wire products so as to expand
its product range and target new local and foreign customers.
We believe that these developments have not only benefitted the Group in the financial year under review, but have also
set us on a positive path going forward."
Lets look at the Minority Interest figure in the P&L about $18 million.
27 million new CW shares for $18 million....an earnings per new share at 67sen....where to find?
If 2015, we have Geshen,: 2016, we have Chinwell.......enough said.

In Malaysia, all the assistance is focused on those with straight As....probably true else where too.
I for one, don't think the straight As are divine beings, and the straight As are assessed by who? By our Education Ministry officers with their ridiculous syllabus and tests?
The real tragedy is not top top students cannot doctors. The real tragedy is that our Ministry has made a mess of the whole system.
The present generation from the poor do not have the upwards mobility of the previous generation.
And the top top students are not even the best of their generation. I have no faith in the government exams and government assessments of the students.
