Looking at the proposed acquisition document on point 6.3 Earnings Per Share they did a simulation based on 31 Dec 2016 audited results and seems like the acquisition would increase the EPS from 2.89 to 3.62 (25% increase) after factoring in the additional shares issued as purchase consideration. Therefore, this looks positive for Krono's earnings per share upon completion of the acquition in Q4, 2017.

If they press down the price as was done in the past few weeks, others will take opportunity to buy cheap. Last quarter EPS 7 cents... animalized EPS 28 cents...at PE ratio of 20 for tech stocks should be around RM 5.60. This is even before taking into consideration the announcements on bonus issue and share split in addtion to the future earnings growth potential!

SuperPanda yes tech stocks have high PE but that also means high downside risks if any hiccups in earnings (i.e. IQgroup's recent quarter results). Also, with the mega gains from tech stocks with some hitting few hundred % gains, will not be surprised if investors choose to take profits and shift rebounds funds to investments with more upside potential currently such as steel stocks.

If wait until rerating only buy will be high already. Looks like market is pricing in upside in undervalued low PE steel counters and downside in overheating high PE tech stocks. In addition, continuous MYR strengthening against USD is additional bonus for steel counters like Masteel.

Ann Joo PA got twice yearly dividend if not mistaken. The conversion price should be RM 1.30 correct? If yes, seem like value buy as discount from mother share even after factoring in the RM 0.06 dividend?

Agree PMetal is a good fundamental stock. Think recently they have been expanding capacity based on articles on PMetal. Long term it has been uptrending but of course there are occasional profit taking.

LK036...that is also an option but I guess most people remain interested here might believe in where there is crisis lies opportunities. If the merger does happen IWC has land intrinsic value rather than other speculative counters with low NTA.
