And even then... the producers will not be able to ramp up manufacturing so quickly in the beginning. So having a repurpose vaccine as a short term stop-gap will have its value.

Don't get me wrong. I too hope that the actual vaccine can be release as soon as possible to help alleviate the pandemic globally and hopefully return us all to life as we know it.

@NPRA1985 Yes am aware of that. But we do need to realistically understand that the actual Covid vaccine will not be so quick to be released for public use. There are a lot of data and certification required to get a new vaccine out no matter what China is saying.

This counter is gonna fly!!! Lots of great news:
1) Repurpose polio vaccine for Covid. This is very different from the other vaccine R&D. If the repurpose vaccine shows results this is much easier to get approval and market since it is already an existing vaccine
2) Approval by Indonesian authorities for manufacturing and sales of pharmaceutical products in their Batam plant
3) New test kit with 100% accuracy
