Ginger Spice , They have closed many. But those bases are in part what created a world in which ready and safe global trade is available. Is it such a huge surprise that the US would toll the world a bit in exchange for creating an unprecedentedly safe and free ocean?

....Commenting system is still bad. ... The US would have to focus on strangling the Bearing and Malacca Straits but it would take quite a while to see tangible results from such a strategy. We are all better off utterly avoiding war but I would not underestimate China’s military potential, untried though it may be.

. Err O'Brian, that’s a simplistic appraisal of what military confrontations might look like. The blue water naval power of China IS very limited, but near its own shores it is highly likely that the relatively untested but allegedly extremely high-tech anti-ship missiles China boasts would be enough to keep the US at bay in the SCS and the Taiwan Strait. The US would have to focus on strangling the Berring Strait and the Malacca

China is not alone....Argentina and Brazil are friendly and reliable suppliers to China, of course plus many more countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Cambodia and New Zealand, etc. etc.

I do wonder if there is war, where will it take place? Mostly likely in the South China Sea? Who will be first to strike? Will Russia back China against the US and it’s allies? The US will not invade mainland China nor will China invade the US. Conflicts may arise in the South China Sea but there will not be use of nuclear missiles. So if it’s a battle at sea? The question is - Is the Chinese navy up to par? What about their aircraft carriers, destroyers and submarines. Well seems like the US is still far more superior at sea. China has far more nuclear missiles but it’s for show. No, military confrontation will come from this. The US still has many option to handle China financially. Without use of force. Therefore, another waste of time article. Comparing conflicts of some 2500 years ago is ignorance of modern military warfare!

@UNITED KINGDOM haha Good joke. You must be a comic. Yes, sweet nostalgia. Back in the day when UNITED KINGDOM was a coolie or something for the masters. UNITED KINGDOM which country do you come from since you say so much about China? We would love to hear of the wonderful life you had.

BlackWhite, i think you get them wrong, what they mean is they only wait for PA price to go up and sell it directly, if 0.015 X15 = rm0.225 then they sell it directly....

The very short answer is this.
NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE.
If Tun can has 112 or more signed SDs, why not?
AND what if Tun call for a presser and show them the 112+ signed SDs? Game over?

We have NOT HEARD mamak ever denouncing Arss-min's treacherous acts.
Neither have we heard Arss-min saying anything unsavoury about Mamak.
Be wary of these two, who we think are on either side of the fence.
We really do not know what is brewing,do we?
