Just bought some this morning

I have given hints at this forum few weeks ago, mentioning that North Sea weather might not be good, so need to be a bit careful

But nobody seems to pick up my hint

I sold armada at 50 Sen

The reason I did that was because I worried this December quarter result will not be good

The reason I worry is because I read some of CIMB’s analyst reports dated 2018. The analyst explained that kraken faced problem during winter (December quarter). The sea kraken operating on will have very bad weather condition and stormy. The huge waves at sea creates a lot of water vapour in the form of mist. Those mist will trigger alarm system at kraken, causing it to believe that a fire has broken out. Kraken will automatically shut down the boilers powering the vessel, resulting in lost working hours

The above condition will not appear in Non Winter quarters, therefore kraken in March, June and September quarters will operate well and armada profit will be good

there is no information on whether this issue has been resolved in December quarter 2019. So I was a bit worry the same phenomena will occur, so I decided to sell my shares at 50 Sen and not wait for the December quarter result

Very soon we will be able to find out how they are performing

No blind faith no unduly panic

Evaluate objectively

A stock like pchem you probably shouldn’t average down all the way, because you really don’t know where is the bottom

Not every stock can be accumulated like this

But bank stocks can

Because their businesses are spread out over variety of industries

They have the benefit of diversification

Because i am waiting for my semicon stocks to go up over the next two years, and then I will sell them and buy more of you

For one year, for two years, up to you

Kobay can become RM4 within two years

You lack independent thinking and self confidence

You are assuming market is correct all the time

You are assuming that market is consciously pricing kobay at such Low level

Market misprices kobay, and you try to justify for it as though market is right

The correct thing to do is to lead the market by promoting and explaining to the unawared investors

When kobay goes to RM3.00, your “Low ROE hence deserves Low valuation” theory will look silly and lack of self confidence and vision

based on the above, this stock has defensive quality

nobody will be able to catch stocks at rock bottom all the time

Nobody will be able to be so smart to buy a stock at the most rock bottom

The slide will always continue, after we buy in (especially if the reason we buy it is because it has declined by a lot and looking attractive). It is not something new to me

But if we get the fundamentals correct , namely , Low PER and Low PBR, the margin of safety will be huge and we will be able to not only recover, but to profit from it when things normalise

I have done this many times before , 80% of the time, it works , except for ONE situation - FRAUD (major shareholders suck money out of the company)

Other than that, buying a stock like ABMB at current level is quite safe (I don’t think we need to worry too much about fraud for this company)

ABMB might have come down a bit

But if we don’t buy it and buy some other stocks, we would have suffered paper losses too

Add Jordan power net profit RM200 mil

Annual profit RM480 mil

Based on 8.15?bil shares, EPS is 6 Sen

15 times PER means TP 90 Sen

When Singapore power profit recovers , profit will go further up

Price will also further up

That is my investment thesis for YTLP

To those who claimed SAM non aerospace business is mainly from HDD, you don’t know what you talking

But all these actually doesn’t matter, people can say whatever they want in this forum, at the end of the day, it is the PLC that matters. If SAM can deliver good result in the future its price goes up if not it will underperform

Just like Petronas chemical. People said how good how good, but the analysis later turned out to be wrong, and all pchem shareholders go Holland

Strong earning, right industry (Semicon), Low PE, Low liquidity
