Good day may have gone but still see quite strong support at around $1.

Yes, is bored and luckily disposed off @12 after I read its annual report. Gold may be a thesis but end results and minimum dividend for long term investors is crucial. Otherwise is just for speculation.

See who are the smart institutions to subscribe the private issues. In needs of cash but no strong fundamentals.

I will never support a company if it doesn't have credibility even though I may able to make some profit out of it. Good luck everyone.

I don't know for those long term investors how much you have received dividend from this company and what is the share price movement for the past 10 years?
2017-08-14 11:42 | Report Abuse
Not doing well but is giving dividend so that you guys don't throw it. Take care as nothing is free.
London Biscuits claimed it made profit but no dividend. Somehow we have all these funny stocks.
Hotels most likely are quite run down and need $ to improve its quality.
Regulators should impose requirement on profit distribution to build a good market for long term investment.

Complicated tax law and inefficient tax claims made the SH at risk. All professionals (auditor, company accountant, etc) already have their good share from fees and salary but left uncertainty for SH. This is also part of market risk?

Long term definitely is a no go as you can see from its chart. Only for speculative play if you can take the risk. ST TP 0.30

Very good idea but buying hotel is a quick win for certain people instead of waiting for durian plants to grow. Just like cow vs condo.

@firehawk... if those with power are inaction, the happiest one is the management and the major SH. Enquire "unusual" price movement is the easiest regulator task but not other tasks, in particular investigation, siapa mau cari pasar? Anyway, I wish I am wrong.

I wish the major holders of TP now are all the investment bankers since their analysts saw gem in this stock and set such a good target price.

I would like to support for long term, unfortunately really can't find a good thesis:
1. Read the disclosure link for dividend, dropped every year from 6 sen to current 1 sen.
2. No sign that various chaotic issues can be resolved ASAP as those issues will take some times. Impact of damages remains uncertain.
3. Don't know how much time the management has to focus on core business with all the unresolved issues.
4. Not all company can deliver good results if solely based on PR or linkages on appointment as they may lack of necessary skills set required for the company to succeed.
5. Big doesn't mean better just like the dinosaurs theory.
Nonetheless, I sincerely wish the company can overturn the current situations and deliver all good for the minority SH and hope that I am wrong. Good luck to everyone.

Will wait for its private placement to settle down first. Of course, some may want to try their luck and take a higher risk. Different view is always good for the market as far as the company is not doing something bad for us. All the best.

@Limch... I only express my view and told my actual deals without bad intention. CEO remuneration is in its AR. I bought this stock early of the year at above 1.40 on high dividend thesis and decided to quit immediately after it announced the poor results. Afterall it is just a judgment call. Good luck to you and others too

Something is not right as its net profit margin is too low. Who took the $? If not supported by revenue growth, its bottom line will surely be affected.
The only thing the management can help the share price is by giving some dividend if it got cash, otherwise no hope la as its EPS remains low.
Power project in neighboring country, another luck you need. 5 years patient observing saved about 65%. Unless speculative play, fundamentals will take sometimes to deliver.

@gcke... looks like those with the given power remains inaction, this case will be a no case issue. IPO valuation approach and assumptions made should make known as facts n figures will be self explanatory. Anyway, don't think it will work out that way as we can't even know the face of the management n bod in its website below.

CEO remuneration (group):
2014: $1,028,000
2015: $1,928,000
2016: $2,575,000
Whether coming profit will increase or not remains uncertain but the above data tell that performance dropped when remuneration up. If imported CEO is a genius, most likely the figures will be up again, performance is up to your own judgment. TP 88.

The Group recorded a loss after tax of RM7.10 million on the back of RM21.52 million revenue for the financial year ended 31 March 2017. The current year financial result were weighed down by a non-recurring land premium expense of RM10.92 million and impairment of receivables of RM5.01 million, mitigated by a gain on fair value adjustment of RM5.79 million on its investment properties and reversal of provision for tax penalties of RM1.35 million. In the previous financial period ended 31 March 2016, the Group reported a profit after tax of RM8.08 million on the back of RM28.80 million revenue.
**impairment of receivables, Hahaha? Related parties involved? What action has been taken? Please give details and be transparent.
***If with revenue also making losses, just close down and return NTA to all SH, don't let management and directors suck all the balance as they are talented people and most properly rich people too.

@JamesPond... we should play our investors role to continue to raise our concerns on companies and management who only keep on asking $ instead of distributing profit back to SH. My very worst investment experience was Malaysia AE, became insolvent immediately few months after dividend paid, and management was fined very little and stock was zero value. Good management, regulators, auditor and bankers. Good luck.

NTA could be misleading. Nonetheless as this is a newly listed, most likely it represents quite a fair one.
I myself stepped into a mines land about 5 years ago, ie Malaysia AE, its NTA is double the share price but just about only a few months after received its dividend, it became insolvent and NTA eventually became zero value. "Good" auditor, management, bankers (never read its financial statements?) and regulators. The Datuk management just easily walked away with very little fine. That is our market.
We must share info and voice our concerns, together to build a transparent market, good market conducts, effective regulations, and most importantly to protect investors interests.

When profit is not substantiated by positive cash flow, the profit is as good as paper profit and can't even afford to pay dividend.
After the right issues, bonus issues and private placement, it will soon become penny stock. Bear in mind private placement which normally is 10% below market price. If the NTA is the true value, believe someone has already more then willing to privatise it.

If private placement approved within this few days, 10% discount for private buyers, theoretically already below 1.00. If company management can't deliver, no point to buy now. Hopefully sniper123 is right, below 0.50 even though the chance is quite slim.

@gcke...securities law in mainland China is stringent too. In Jan~May this year, its Securities Commission fined and confiscated more than RMB6.14 billion. Underwriters, audit firms etc will and were held responsible too. Believe it or not, players of local market here are very "obedient" as compared to China, as we rarely see punishment or severe breaches. Regulators should periodically publish information pertaining to action taken on companies but not just asked for unusual price fluctuations (one of the common actions), this action can easily be done by requiring self reporting.

1. Good company need not travel around to entice buyers as its reputation will tell.
2. Unfortunately there is only a few good one in KLSE that really delivered quite consistent performance and their price increased over many years.
3. Worst still, some who wanted to promote KLSE and welcome those companies abroad without quality to list here, eg. Chinese firms, almost all shown their real fox tail. Yet talking of liberalisation.
Good luck to all, a long process of learning and know our risk appetite.

4. Those who are still observing need to take how long to complete observing or just wanted the issue to fade naturally as if no issue happened?
5. Minority watch dog role needs to revisit? Not just dissemination of info as many can do that.

Attend the AGM in Sep, fire BOD n management, significant dropped in revenue n turn to loss yet asking for fees. Ask them what are the KPIs for CEO who got so much salary n bonus even though company performed badly n BOD KPIs too. Bonus paid to top 2 increased by app 150% from previous year. KPI for bonus is when revenue, net profit down and zero dividend, bonus up 150%. Minority sucked again.

Court case may be dragging for sometimes as usual. Buy at your own risk and I am looking for averaging down, too sad. High dividend yield stock ended up in this situation. Wish all good luck, and of course, wish the management could do something good if not everything.

It is considered good if did not dip further. EPS will be diluted after bonus issues unless profit jumps in proportional which is almost unlikely.
