@Pua, My holding for Tguan is for 5 yrs which is according their expansion roadmap. I'm not sure what is a good entry point but I have bought some when it was RM 1.80-2.00. Beginning last year I park my order at RM2.20 for long term (resubmit every 30 days) and on number of occasion i managed to get at that price. I still park at RM2.20 now.....

The so called cash payout is after they set aside money for the borrowing and the EWL project which means they will be net cash and currently the cash payout has not accounted of potential future revenue and profit for EWL which doesn't require anymore capital. The little downside is only the strengthening of RM against GBP If they really distribute the surplus cash, my own target is between 30c to 35c of special div.

Tguan is a long-term investment, however, I will wait for Q1'23 results that should release by end of may to see how much it is impacted due to:

1. The raise in electricity ICPT from 3.7c to 20c.
2. The strengthening of RM to USD that has strengthen about 10%.
3. The increase of labor wages and also reduction of work time from 48 hours to 45 hours per week starting 1st Jan'23. This will increase the overhead with the same working hours.
4. Increase of commercial water tariff (about 28%) and IWK charges as well.

The above will put pressure on its revenue and profit margin and furthermore don't forget about potential forex loss.

Waiting to see their cash burn rate. I think they burn 300+M in 1 quarter but partly is due to purchase a piece of land.

For full year 2021, JAKS book a profit of RM 140.7M profits from it 30% stakes. Has JAKS actually receives the profit? I don't see that in their cash flow statement.

Go to their website and see their clientele. To me, it seems like their clientele are the 2nd or 3rd tier. For example Caltex is one of their customer but by qty of petrol station in Malaysia, Petronas, Shell, Petron and then Only Caltex. There already lost the mass market in terms on machine deployment and transactions.
Subway is also their customer but in Malaysia McD, KFC, starbuck are generally the more popular 1 compare to subway. They have more store and .......i think you get my point.....but this is just my opinion....

The div question was asked in the AGM and if not mistaken management ans that the need the money for the expansion. They said it is better for all shareholder by growing the company and create more value of the company .

The strengthening of RM against USD and the increase of ICPT does not goes well with export oriented company. RM up against the greenback should giving more buying power to power producer and hence lower the operating cost but it would't be pass down to consumer as the ICPT will be reviewed only in Jul'23. Revenue also might drop due to exchange rate.

I'm interested to know what the 30 boxes of document they cart away. If it were design document, plans.....usually store online. Financial document and contracts? This will be interesting. There is no boring day in Bursa. Just like watching soap opera.

Jack2, the cash from dec'21 if not mistaken is from IPO or fund raise for the use of oversea expansion. When covid hits, they are not able to expand and they are require to utilise the money by certain time or else need to return to investor (do correct me if I'm wrg). Hence they use the money to stock up more of the revenue machine for local expansion. The question is how much more growth. There are far too many player now in this really crowded space.

Fundamental of the business have change. They use to be on top of the game but the space has become more competitive. Nowsday many use QR code and ewallet. It reduce the needs for their machine and margin has reduced. I see different scanning gadget uses by F&B and it is getting popular than revenue machine.
