YTLPower derives its revenue primarily overseas... And it had stay in KLSE all the years!
Happy National Day to you YTL Power Int. Bhd.

Thank you Dragon for the analysis.
The prospect of the company is strong. But with so many on its plate, should we adopt a more conservative view? Delivery of the projects is altogether a different matter. We can make all the cash flow projections, but can it be delivered?
You can sign many contracts - question is, again, can you deliver?
Though YTL is a strong name... Having too much to eat in a short time may not be ideal as well...

Similarly, there is inaction from the YTLPower PR team to address the lack of updates on Wessex, NVIDIA, Seraya and etc.

The fact that i3 removes postings that is of not personal-abusive but with analysis contents is indeed dumb-founding.
Labeling i3 as dumb shall warrant a removal?😀
Whatever dragon provides may not fully constitutes the 100% truth... most importantly the market volume is huge enough and i do not think whatever dragon says can and will change the share price overnight...

The business model of Synergy in creating a recurring income is good. I like this kind of business model.

Genting stocks are relatively under-valued.
The problem with the Genting group is due to its RPTs. Don't forget of what they had done to the Lenders and their shipping business ventures. Share price is at current level now mainly due to the sufficiency in funds raising. Tapping the sukuk market is an excellent move.
Overall, I believe there are plenty of potential on the Genting stock (s).

Suncon is riding the boom of the Malaysian economy...
A hungry enough contractor who goes for every projects...
We can all be bullish, but the real question to ask myself is:
Can they digest so much?

Cheapest based on financial indicators...
But does the company really can fetch the similar valuations compared to other property developers? I doubt so - it is heavily privately owned. They may not care about the share price as much...

This NSL acquisition for me is like a repeat of MCement...
Lafarge was loss making due to the inefficiency of the entire Lafarge operations...
I had a friend who worked in Lafarge before and shared to me everyday she was asked to analyze how YTLCement at that time was not suffering as they were...
When she got absorbed into YTLCement after the merger, she got the answer. It is cost control... Sometimes companies after operating for too long tend to get into the comfort zone...

I do not think Wessex should be disposed off given that it is utility in nature. I believe the current state is Ofwat disciplining the water companies.
If I try to the regulator's shoes, I will ask:
How many years have the shareholders been extracting dividends from the water companies?
If I understand from the business model correctly, the water companies are increasing their gearing so that shareholders can be paid. Now the regulator is asking them to reinvest their dividends instead of taking money out...

Hi dragon,
The financial fundamentals of IOIPG safely say is solid and the potential to grow is there.
All these I believed is built on the back of the late tycoon's shrewdness and discipline.
However, whatever goodness being done it is no use if the management doesn't explain (do PR); it is as if a public company who doesn't wish to answer to the public.
Anyway, I guess the management is saying the value is there; but most of the time, your value is what the market give you.

Hi dragon,
The possible privatisation scenario is profound. It makes me want to sell-out now to prevent further losses😥

JCorp is not a DC developer, they do not develop DC themselves. They only sell land and if not mistaken they are the master developer in Sedenak which sold land to the DC developers
