For the current quarter under review, the Group had achieved a revenue of RM31.54 million with a profit before tax ("PBT") of RM0.17 million compared with a revenue of RM17.45 million and PBT of RM6.25 million in the same quarter of 2013(Q4,2013). PBT of the reporting quarter decreased by RM6.08 million mainly due to one off corporate exercise expenses of approximately RM221,530, impairment of goodwill of RM1.5mill as well as amortisation of in tangible assets RM0.5 mill.

The Group's revenue increased by 133% to RM121.86million for the cumulative quarter 2014 compared to the previous year's corresponding quarter of RM52.40 million. The increased in revenue is mainly due to revenue contributed from education sector subsequent to the acquisition of CUCMS in Jan 2014.

Result as expected. Profits drop due to acquisition plan. However, Revenue has increased significantly which is a good sign. Let's see how smrtian react next week. The lower the better. ;)

Tornado @ Thanks bro. I will never fall in love with a stock. I choose a stock always based on fundamental and future prospect of company. No doubt there is a risk in investing smrt now, however risk is always there for any kind of investment. it just the matter of what kind of risk can you take? Of cos high risk always high Return. Simple as it is. :)

I believe Malaysia currency hitting new low will attract more overseas student come Malaysia for further studies. Smrt is consider very cheap now among all others education stocks eg Presbhd. PE only around 10x, whereas Presbhd close to PE30x. Seriously no brainer!

With such low volume can push 0.015 cents I can assumed that most of the sellers are gone. now only left with keeper. However T4 is coming. I think support will be 0.59 - 0.61 .. anything below 0.59 will be a bonus.

Market sentiment not good now. perhaps it Need some time.. short term may going down further.

People will start to chase high when it stand above 0.70 .. this is what happen to most of the investor.

Honestly if really that kind unfortunate smrt drop to 0.20 I bet you won't dare to buy it! Haha..

Truthseeker: how did u get smrt overpaid to megb? They bought with 0.60 but now value is 0.67, I'm fact they gain 10%+ paper profit. Furthermore, Would u buy a company if u do not have confident to turn it around?

If I buy a company recently and short of money to made for the payment, I will sold partially shares of that new company that I bought in order to completed the payment part. Reason being
If the value higher than the price that I bought, I would rather sold it for temporary to fulfil the payment rather than taking loan from a bank or sold my own company shares. Not sure if my view is correct?
