This is what this company is worthy of. As the retailed investors, we just have to admit will never get the full story behind any public listed company, meaning that we will never be guaranteed if its price is moving up in any times.

What we are sure of is what we can see(quaterly, annual reports) and get(dividends).
If one day Uchitec tumbles, you are not seemed as loosing everything because you already received so much dividends in the past.

Doesnt look good if compared to their peers. Liihen, Pohuat, Homeritz and even Hevea all tumbled.
If not for long term purpose, my advice is reduce your position at this counter first before quaterly result is out on June.

You must know how to judge a stock... some see it as growth, some may keep for dividends. Obviously Tambun is not in growth position since few years back. For dividend wise, my opinion is not suitable since property earning is cyclical and highly exposed to external risk. Instead go for REITs.

My opinion is, if you are willing to invest in YTL for the next 10, 20 or even 30 years, it is an opportunity to accumulate slowly.

Yeoh Family is the single biggest shareholder.Their pain is definitely no less than anyone of the investor here. They should know how to handle the situation.

I believe in their late founder, Mr YTL, and the wisdom that heritaged to his family.

Let's put this way.. you are looking for a wife, she has to look pretty, able to earn high income, good at house keeping, cooking, soft and kind heart... you can list out all the attributes about a wife that you are chasing for. But, do you really need all that for someone to become your wife?

In my opinion, as long as she just looks decent and can live independently ( good fundamentals), and willing to share responsibility (paying dividends) with you, pls don't let her go.

Wait till 1.20 or 1.00? I bet you will not dare to buy in if don't know what is happening. When it does retreat to 1.00, you might expect it to go lower to 0.80 ,0.60....etc. This is typical characteristic from most people.

I don't have the ability to estimate the market crashing and lowest point, but I m more concerned about if an investment can generate stable, continuous income for me.

I think sometimes if we are afraid of too many 'if', most likely we are going to miss the boat. Yes of course boats go away and will come again, but how times we can afford to miss that? Remember human's biggest limitation is time.

Uchitec is a very low profile company... but every time when I look at their quarterly/annual report, and the way they treat shareholders, I just have calm in mind no matter how fluctuate the price is.
