The state's utility and telecommunications minister Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi said discussion should be concluded as soon as possible.


The Sarawak government reiterates that under the DGO, Petros is appointed as the sole gas aggregator. There is no other gas aggregator in the state," he said in a statement issued late last night.

Julaihi said this in response to Petronas' statement yesterday afternoon that the discussions between both parties regarding the proposed implementation of DGO are still ongoing.

Pulau Bruit can be key food hub, says Abdullah

DARO: Pulau Bruit holds immense potential to become a key hub for supplying seafood, fruits and rice to central Sarawak.
Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol said with the impending completion of the Batang Paloh and Batang Lasa bridges, the transportation of seafood and agricultural produce will soon be more efficient.
He said this will ensure the goods reach markets and dining tables across Sarawak with greater ease.
