KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 29): AllianceDBS Research said Carimin Petroleum Bhd (Carimin) had on Nov 28 gapped down to a low of 33 sen before closing off the day’s low at 34.5 sen (down 2 sen or 5.47%).

In its evening edition yesterday, the research house said Carimin continued to trade below the 20-day (blue) and 50-day (red) moving average lines.

“The downside gap indicated the urgency to unload stock position.

“Following the down close on Nov 28, the stock is likely to move lower again with immediate support at 32 sen.

“A fall below 32 sen should see further price decline to the subsequent support at 29 sen.

“The hurdle is pegged at 36 sen. A rise above 36 sen would lift the stock to the next resistance zone, 40.5 sen – 42.5 sen,” it said.

AllianceDBS Research said stock volume traded on Nov 28 was 2.82 million shares compared to the 3-month average volume of 5.99 million shares.
