i believe their service engineers who actually work on call basis , would have a max charge of Eur 400 per day

take 600 fellows on avg x 90 days per qtr you get service revenue of:

= max 90m per qtr...

makes sense, we have another way to check what is more realistic revenue...

Serba 25% revenue from Malaysia? Even that i am doubtful. How much is Dayang's revenue in Malaysia? 1B? Serba is smaller in Malaysia than Dayang, how to do 1B?
The biggest O&G companies in Malaysia namely Sapura & MMHE only roughly do RM1B per year for Malaysia business.
For Serba business in Malaysia, RM100-200M would be a more realistic figure. You just have to look at few years before their listing to get an idea.
For those who think they are supporting BUMI company, think twice. Karim is a Chinese.
When it comes to crook, many in KLSE are Chinese. BTW, i am chinese too

we never know how price will behave for SCIB, Kpower etc...perhaps already priced in

simple logic - if SD really wants to do money laundering at such large scale they would have made sure these entities look extremely professional to avoid any doubts by any parties...

but that was not the case...and was not the intention

Knowing how middle east companies work...Invoices appear like kindergarten standard and large transaction using companies with simple e-mail addresses with one man show...i can see how Serba Dinamik had adopted the Saudi Bedouins culture....

well i am not free to discuss about individuals who add no value on ascertaining what is the truth between KPMG - SD arguments

windy1974...who knows you could be on the same network of auditor friends...with simple business analysis by looking at financial statements

the presentation material (KPMG - SD coumminicaton) was dated 5th May, Jon (ex-auditor) was talking with conviction that he dont trust SD (an MNC with billions annual revenue) on financial figures especially from Qatar on 19th May...much ahead of media release on the issue.

Easy to connect the lines...

@probability stop personal attack. Auditors are just doing their job. If your documentations are incompleted with typo error the fault is on you.

this whole suspicion was triggered by Jonathan Choi aka ChoivoCapital which influenced his friends who are likely the auditors of KPMG dealing with SD.....when you see things in an irrational bias - suspicion..everything will look the way you want it..

I think someone should post the powerpoint presentation in i3....

SD will use a labourer's address in Bahrain to deal is it? what kind of common sense this auditors have liao...

this bunch of auditors who has no practical business experience seem to be on hyper mode to suspect everything ...and they think everything can be verified just by looking at the numbers in financial statements...

what has happen between KPMG and SD...is exactly how Jonathan Choi debates with Philip...

i have a strong suspicion that KPMG auditor is one of Jon's friends as an ex-auditor...this explains why he can convincingly attack SD during his interview on 19th May much ahead of this issue coming to the media spotlight....

any services accrued to particular purchase order which are not completed (i.e ready for Invoicing), will be book under work in progress (WIP), be it the services taken place at SD's office, or at client's site..... as long as its related to the purchase order, it has no choice but to sit as inventory

e.g, you spend 9 days for quarantine at the hotel in Qatar before executing job, and 200 days at Qatargas site, and return to Sarawak with another 10 days quarantine, and yet your accounts have not invoiced Qtargas, all the cost incurred for travelling, board & lodging will still be sitting as inventory...

Root cause of all issues, c19

- improper docs both from SD and clients causing suspicion and inaccessibility for verification, due to work from home adaptation in middle east region
- high inventory ( in the form of intangible WIP not GIT) due to excessive quarantine duration of service engineer, delaying invoicing
