Soyoil consumers in non-soyoil producing regions should just shift to palm oil. It is more nutritious, easier & more convenient to store & handle, as well as much cheaper.

Nope. Not at all.

It is actually going to be good for ASEAN economies, including Malaysia. China is going to buy more essential goods, like palm oil for instance, because they're going to buy less American soya as part of their retaliation.

And who knows, US might even be sourcing more consumer goods from Malaysia, because China goods are going to become more expensive for them.

Very good. The industry has been dying for something like this for quite a while.

Kevin5059, there is a forumer on i3 with the handle SaveMalaysia who by the tone of his posts is obviously a DAP supporter, who has been rather relentlessly writing all kinds anti-BN posts & blogs on i3 for, what, easily the last ten years or so. I do not see you making any complaint against him at all.

Yet you make a big hue & cry about someone, who is presumably a BN supporter, with the name SaveMsiaFromPHGov, for just making some mild criticism of PH gov. And even just for using his handle.

You need to explain this doulble standards attitude of yours.

I am inclined to go along with CoolBull. Freedom of speech & expression is everybody's right. Not just the right of those on a certain side of the fence.

PM will quite likely be visiting India next. Maybe some time soon.

Because India is an even bigger buyer of Malaysian palm oil than China.

Could be that he's waiting till after the Indian elections.

One more thing. Those having just sold off, please just take your money with you & bow out quietly.

No need to make any dramatic announcements or farewells. That kind of thing has a tendency to disturb the market.

You can come back in again if you like, at any time, by all means.

TDM is a slow, subtle, creeping riser. No dramatic 30% upspikes in a day. Maybe 10 - 12% at the very most. And that also very rarely. Better this way.

How on earth are we all going to huat together if everybody starts selling like there's no tomorrow every time price moves up just two sen.

If anybody wants to sell, they can just do so on the quiet, without necessarily announcing it to the whole world.

We should be encouraging guys to buy, not to sell, for God's sake.

This is the time to talk it up, not talk it down. It is not every day or even every week, that PM goes to Shanghai to attend a Belt & Road meeting.

If everybody starts selling like crazy every time there is just a little bit of pick up, then it's going to take decades for this TDM to move anywhere far.

But Mr. Sooaria, if you sell too fast during a strong uptrend, you might miss the rocket ride, should one happen to occur.

Dayang is like a moving train, with its own destination. Sometimes surging away with robust power, sometimes just chugging along slowly but steadily, sometimes pausing completely at some station to rest, sometimes even reversing a little before resuming journey.

Detractors, snipers, dissers, nuisance pests, badmouthers etc. are just like a tiny fluff of gentle breeze. Won't slow the train down, won't alter the train's path, won't make the train falter to the slightest degree, won't even make the train feel anything.

Sour grapes will always be sour grapes. Sweet grapes will always be sweet grapes.
