I believe there may be many in this forum with holding costs much below CSY. We can still afford to hold . Good question is how long can CSY hold out before needing to unwind her investment on top of her coming RI commitment

With share consolidation & reduced NSOH VC price still in the doldrums. Even below theoretical RI price. Don't see VC BOD doing anything to boost investors confidence and taking steps to remedy the issues. With such lacklustre attitude don't dream VC will be another Vivocom. Cannot even clear $0.165. Should at least be able to hold $0.18 which is $0.045 the last closing price before share consolidation

Those who hold VC-WB post RI will be allocated additional VC-WB shares. Anybody in this forum is able to confirm this and the formula for calculating the allocation

mr_hustia is right. It has everything to do with value investing. That is where many in this forum may have missed the point. Need to analyse AT from this perspective.

On theory it looks good Teh Diven but practically can the small retailers be united collectively and have enough resources to take on the institutional short sellers? There are too many glove manufacturers in KLSE with retail investors spread too thin. If it does not work out the small investors will be left holding the shares at high costs with almost all the hard earn savings gone. It would be better to cut loss in such a scenario. At least can still preserve some capital than to pump in more money to lose even more. You have to seriously decide whether you want to participate in such a scheme. Good luck.

Good to see AT forum back to normal with everybody happily chatting away as usual. Keep it up guys. Good luck to everybody going forward as the current Malaysian COVID-19 situation has yet to turn around.

It is important going forward post consolidation how VC BOD takes action to implement the RI. If VC BOD cannot read & understand shareholders sentiments and still do nothing to boost confidence and address these issues, the RI may well end up under subscribe. The current COVID-19 situation is making the situation even more worrisome Good luck to the underwriters and advisers for the RI

Guys, Let us all continue with our usual chatter and not let anybody spoil the mood. If anybody wants to debunk our comments let it be. Just ignore it If that person wants to waste time & energy doing so we welcome with open arms and a smile

My gosh Stockiss, every other person’s view & opinion in this forum except yours are twisted facts & fabricated lies and must be debunked and exposed. Thanks to you the amicable atmosphere of this forum is no more, gone to the gutters. SAD

I respect your views being an AT supporter DannyBoy. Whether you buy , hold or sell it is your decision. It is your money. We all want returns from our investment Sometimes we make the right decisions but there are times we may be wrong. We accept our mistakes and move on. There is no need to bring down everybody. If valuation is right and can make reasonable returns from AT I will be a fool if I don’t buy into AT. Everything is timing that cannot be changed by circumstances

Asasri, strattegist, Jembo91, I enjoy reading your comments pulling each other legs. All in jest. Good of you guys. At the end of the day all are friends. That is the spirit .

Jembo91 statement “ aww pity atians holders holders no CNY ANGPOW AHAHAHA ” in my mind is a harmless statement. Asari replied Tak perlu pity atian, atian akan kaya Jun 21 was in good jest without any malice.
But you Stockiss see it differently and a need to attack Jembo91
A statement by night_shadow “ coz EPF only buy shares fr company that they really2 trust and that’s not AT ” is again a true statement. Nothing wrong with that.
Stockiss, you again see a need to attack night_shadow as well as Stockhunter88 comments you guys hoping for EPF to buy ace market (make it penny stocks) shares?
Stockiss, It seems in this forum NOBODY can say anything or make any comments or jokes without you coming after them. Why do you have to be so intolerant? Why can’t you respect opinions and views of your fellow Malaysian? Even if you need to reply to somebody it can be done in a friendly manner. I see many comments eg by Asari, Strattegist, Citadel00, Jembo91, Sonickid, MasterOfSailang, HamsterHuat, oskchoon, night_shadow & others are all made in jest without any malice pulling each other legs. At the end of the day we are ultimately responsible for our own investment decisions.

Years ago when I was working in a public listed company my Finance Director told me not to sell my shares. Will go up to $X . Until the day I leave the company never reach the TP. Never believe Director’s words. Good lesson learnt. Will indicate a high TP to prevent you from selling and perhaps to buy even more. Believe at your own risk

Assuming your holding cost is RM0.12 & SIS is issued at RM0.08 as a shareholder you will rugi as that lucky person is given the opportunity to buy so much shares at a price lower than your cost. The increased in NSOH will result in capital dilution as well as greater free float. All these issues will make it even more difficult for any price appreciation.
2021-01-27 19:06 | Report Abuse
Good question Musang King. Who has been given the privilege to subscribe for the SIS? For directors to purchase I believe need to seek approval

NSOH 3.1B come 29 Jan. When ESOS, SIS ever going to end? Why Fintec cannot just lock in some of the RM700M profit announced last QR instead of issuing 120M shares just to raise only RM9M? There is no justification for the capital dilution when the sum involved is only RM9M.

Interesting to see AT latest QR next month whether AT got money to build new 60 production line plant at Larut Matang
2021-01-27 10:12 | Report Abuse
oskchoon, what strattegist said is correct. The annual glove production capacity of 2.6 B is ONLY a projection. Has not happened yet. Same as your P/E calculation and TP of RM0.35 Even at current price of RM0.17 AT market capitalisation is already RM719M. Do you ever ask yourself how much money is RM719M and how much you can buy. If you have that much money will you spend to buy AT yet to be fully completed factory in Chemor and the many small AT power projects? Your TP of RM0.35 will value AT at RM1.4B. Are you joking? AT even when the plant in Chemor is completed suddenly double its value to RM1.4B?

I believe VC is the lowest price amongst all the KLSE companies that are in the black. Even lower than PN17 companies and those with massive losses. VC BOD wants shareholders to subscribe for the RI but yet are not doing anything to bolster investors confidence nor address the depressed share price. Why should we shareholders throw in more money to subscribe for the RI to see it stuck when we can invest in so many other KLSE companies that can give us better returns unless of course VC BOD can give us more compelling reasons to do so.
2021-01-24 18:44 | Report Abuse
You are right HamsterHuat. Similar script with Fintec. Also awaiting share consolidation. Only after share consolidation can consider more PP, SIS, ESOS or even another RI to raise funds for the new 60 production line factory

The current problems of increase free float & NSOH faced by shareholders is in part due to the action by vC BOD. The increase in free float was due to directors selling their shares EG 91M on 21/07/20 & CPH 25M on 19/06/20, 20M on 01/07/20 & 45M on 09/07/20 EG & CPH ceased to be substantial shareholders but are still ED of VC
On 15 Jan 2019 VC NSOH was only 424.7M It ballon to currently 1.33B due to PP of 109M on 23/09/20 & 130M on 08/01/21 The increase in NSOH is also due to the conversion of ICPS to VC . The conversion of ICPS & PP brings additional cash to VC coffers but at a price of increased NSOH which now needed share consolidation to resolve
The sudden plunge in VC price beginning of Jan 2020 and the continue depress VC price in 2020 sap shareholders confidence. With current shareholders low morale and poor sentiments VC BOD wants to ask shareholders to pump in more money to subscribe for the RI. Unless and until there is a substantial appreciation in VC price or a rosy outlook in terms of contracts new projects I honestly don’t think this will happen. There are so many other KLSE companies that shareholders can invest in for better returns .
2021-01-22 21:56 | Report Abuse
OracleofOmaha is correct that the management wants to flush out retailers by purposely depressing prices. This is also a way for someone to collect cheaply. Not many KLSE companies are prepared to go down this route as many shareholders will be disappointed. I am sure jt18 as a shareholder is not too optimistic to subscribe for the RI. This sentiments is also shared by many shareholders. If VC BOD does not read the sentiments of the shareholders correctly there is every possibility the RI may be under subscribe unless they do something to address the issue

Happy you got out this morning Sonickid. OK to lose some commission with money still in pocket to fight another day. Even at RM0.175 AT market capitalisation is still RM700M+ With only one glove production line up and running is it this valuation justifiable? There are so many more financially stronger KLSE companies with lesser market valuation.

If post consolidation with decreased NSOH VC still trading at a tight range the RI will not be successful. I believe even substantial shareholders will hesitate to subscribe for the RI unless there is a margin of reasonable returns. Nobody is willing to throw good money with a high possibility of losing it all. Now is the time for VC BOD to show to us shareholders how competent they are managing the RI and the company going forward.

Good cerita Tansri777 on AT factory at Larut Matang. Everything is about funding. Will only believe if AT can come out with a statement that they have managed to secure funding of RM500M from a bank. AT NSOH is already 4.2B Can you imagine how much NSOH will have to increase by way of PP, SIS & ESOS and is it possible to raise that much money via that route. Please seriously analyse everything that you read . There are a number of eloquent writers who can write very convincingly in this forum. It is your hard earn money. Just be extra careful when making your investment decisions Good luck.

I see so many of you in this forum get so agitated & heated up amongst ourselves and become so stressful. For the serious investors who are still holding AT shares you just have to ask yourself these 2 simple questions
1) Do you honestly believe AT has the financial capability
to build a 60 production lines with an annual capacity
of 18B gloves without having to resort to PP, SIS,
ESOS to increase further the current ESOH of 4.2B?
2). As reported by The Edge , AT investment in the
Chemor plant is only RM63.8M. Will the Chemor
plant increase AT total market capitalisation
suddenly to RM761M?
The answers to these 2 questions should determine whether you hold, sell or buy more .
For those punters who are happy with RM0.005-RM0.01
returns by placing their respective buy & sell orders good luck.

Thailand currently has 19 glove factories with many increasing it’s capacity. By next year Thailand will command 20% of the world’s market share for rubber gloves. With the increased in Thailand glove production and the many KLSE companies that will have their rubber glove plants on stream by this year as well the increased capacity by the big 4 Malaysian glove companies what would be the supply situation be like if and when AT 60 production lines becomes a reality. Will iAT be behind the curve by that time?
