this stock price peaked at RM0.33+ at 2014 due to the completion and valuation of Imago Mall. Many has purchased this stock at that time. Currently price is only RM0.11, resulting capitalization of RM164M only.

valuation of Imago Mall at 2014 has been proven right over time with Imago Mall consistently providing expected profit gains excluding covid time.

indeed PETRONM is so much safer with NTA protection as compared to PETDAG, but I think takeover / privatise might not be that much viable if the business is going down sunset as it's assets, which mostly petrol stations, vehicles and facilities won't worth that much as book value since the business not going to be profitable anymore.

PETDAG high price above NTA is a lot danger seriously but gov under Anwar will care less about PETRONM I think if you know why haha

sold all at Rm4.50 (average cost was RM4.495, loss the broker fee + stamp duties), decided to quit this counter as this might be a sunset business with gov strongly pushing for EV and EV will rise in foreseeable future.

I think automobile counters like MBMR, UMW & SIME might still survive by venturing into EV manufacturing itself, but petroleum sales will goes down in future and EV charging business hardly a profitable substitutes business for pertol station as EV charging can be done else where like shopping mall and especially at home.

by fundamental way it is so easy here, price drop? no worry as long as fundamental intact just keep and wait for the right time to prove, no need to predict when. run only when fundamental turn bad and value no longer higher than current price

I do most of my biggest portfolio refreshes during QR releases only as this is the only time mini retailers like me can get a better picture of the companies' fundamental changes

it is hard by the way, I am still learning and try to improve judgement over time. but I can tell the sweetest way to earn money in stock market is to buy into a undervalued company and then the company get privitization or take over offer. this is the easiest way for the price to jump close into the fair value, although it won't be the most faired one but sweet and easy no need to guess it's peak while can straight away take profit and move into next counters. got hit privatization only once at MMCCORP and it is one of the sweetest memories in my stock investment journey. the worst nightmare is covid of course, and I didn't managed to play well by go out early and reenter while klci index at it's lowest, I just stayed all the way in and let the opportunity pass, anyway it is alright as my capital growing to it's peak level as of now and very satisfied and confident with all my 9 holdings in my current portfolio.

for every stocks in the sharemarket, fundamental fair value is it's price central magnet, but this attract power can go on and off depends on other unpredicted and uncontrolable and even unreasonable reasons.

Also most importantly, this fair value it's changes over time as fundamental of the company changes.

This is basic knowledge I use to try earn some money from stock market by trading according to price movement probability. I am investor also trader but I never trade like those typical techinical traders that judging blindly on price chart without fundamental / sentiment reasoning.

not trusting him blindly, I got my own consideration, it is also my principle to take profit stage by stage when price is at high stage, it is not easy to catch the bottom / peak. Stock price have tendency to move toward it's fair value but it won't be a straight line, up and down in between and there is no promise to reach it's fairest value. some cases it might also over shoot (overvalue).

I also top up stage by stage to average cost when price goes down while it's fundamental intact and also top up if fundamental / prospect improved while it's price still stagnant or didn't up by much.

in yesterday case, transfered my capital from MBMR to SUCCESS which I think fundamental has strongly improved. a bad decision if judging merely on today's price movement but let's see in longer period.

I still got some stock left in this company anyway, price going up is still a win case for me.

by the way, this is how we should analyst a stock price chart by incoorperating real time fundamental and sentiment of that time. no need to involve those meaningless techinical candles / lines / trends, these things cannot tell you what exactly is happening instead just blindly give you a prediction of where the price should move forward without real reasons

fundamental intact, consistent dividend with fantastic future prospect, should be able to break the peak at 2021 because sentiment is better and more realistic now compare to that time. Where a failed QR at november 2021 caused panic and the price free fall from RM1.10++ to RM0.80 below. It seems like now the QR at november 2021 is one off or just happen once in a while. Yearly EPS has no problem to keep it's PE at below 10, which can be improved to even lower PE with better EPS expected in the upcoming QRs

top up a few more today at RM0.715

after consideration and seeing chart that this stock is now still at higher price over the last 3 years.

sold half to lock profit at RM3.68 today. keep remaining to anticipate for take over offer from SIME

I bought cheap, even if I sell at current price I still got pretty profits, not to mention already collected 2 rounds of dividend this round of entry. but I see a good reason to hold and see the SIME's agenda with perodua.
