@pinky in most other situation I agree, but for current mmc situation is that booming of price is long overdue and it can happen at anytime, you might miss the opportunity if it happens when you lock profit. you might be correct if you locked some profits at previous high at 1.17 - 1.19, but you never know that is the correct decision only after it going back to 1.13 / 1.14 below which you can reenter. if me, I would rather just hold tight, not doing any in and out which I cannot predict the future price movement, and save some unnescessary brokerage fee too at the same time. Rm1.50 above is short term target price due before or days after QR release.

I don't think take profit before QR release is good idea, as QR is highly possibility to be good, you might lose the next day gap up open opportunity. I only consider take like half profit if it goes super high prior QR release, which the QR might not be able to live up to that valuation

even if it really takes another year to reach rm2.5, that is almost 150% investment return per year, definitely worth to hold long term

@pinky westport already overvalue, PE20, at least 4x above NTA, 6 EPS just the minimal expectation, hardly promote any rally. MMC is totally different situation, especially if MMC next EPS can be higher than 6

@Trevor777 when you buy a stock, you literally buy it's share of current total asset, hence NTA. Ability to make profits can traslate to ability to improve it's NTA over time, hence it is still NTA at the end. Liquidation can happen any time as well, like selling of it's asset, dividing the obtained money among shareholders can also be happen in the form of special dividend. This happened to other stocks, investors who buy a company at discounted NTA make a lot of money through this.

I am not saying chart technical analysis way is wrong or cannot make money. But I think fundamental thing is more basic and realistic.

if you have faith in it's NTA, and have strong holding power, it doesn't matter at all when is the TIME
