The best solution to the problem is to collect back the trade receivables of RM 83.7 million and the other receivables of RM 120.9 million to pay back the 2 sukuk of RM 30 million and RM 45 million. But the management does not want to talk about the receivables. Investment bank analyst also has no guts to ask the question. That's why so many panic sellers dump their shares everyday, since they thought Alam has no more hope or no more current assets to pay back the 2 sukuk.

From this issue, I can tell that the management is not a good management.- I totally agree with this assessment.

CIMB Research said AAX delivered its best quarterly performance in its history in the current quater, with core net profit outperforming its expectations of a full-year net loss. AAX has hedged its price of Crude Oil at $56 a barrel.

Commenting on its results, Benyamin said the low-cost airline has been loss-making for the past nine quarters but added that it could look forward to its first full year of profit this year.

Mohshin Aziz from Maybank is wrong in presuming that AAX to Hawaii and the USA is an uncharted venture and therefore in an unknown territory and this venture that has NOT been proven to be profitable. Firstly he ask if any US folks care to visit Malaysia, yes there are and also there are also other Malaysians living in the USA that would certainly use AAX for their flight as well. It would improve Tourism to Malaysia. His shallow assumption is questionable and his opinions are very untrustworthy.

AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) carried 1.4 million passengers in the first quarter ended March 31, 2017, up 33% from 1.055 million passengers in same period last year.

In its preliminary operating statistics released Friday, the airline said its capacity rose 28% to 1.66 million versus 1.29 million previously.

YoY: 4Q17 core loss of RM124.4m was reported against
core loss of RM92.9m in 4Q16. This was mainly caused by
(i) losses from Drilling division due to lower no. of rigs
working upon cessation of charter for several rigs and (ii)
higher losses from E&C segment due to lack of fabrication
work done and lower T&I jobs in the quarter upon lack of job
replenishment. This was partially offset by higher JV
contribution due to higher contribution from Petrobras
vessels and better Energy division performance driven by
higher crude lifting price.
 QoQ: In 4Q17, core loss was reported against core profit in
the preceding quarter mainly underpinned by (i) weaker
drilling segment performance due to lower rig utilisation and
(ii) weaker E&C contribution due to monsoon season which
typically results in lower activities.
 FY17: Core net profit plunged 72.6% in FY17 mainly due to
(i) significantly weaker drilling PBT (-74.1%) on the back of
lower no. of drilling rigs in charter and (ii) lower E&C PBT
due to lower work done in the year amid low oil price
environment and lack of fabrication jobs. This was however
partially offset by better Energy earnings due to savings in
OPEX.

Comments: Armada 98/2 has been set up for the purpose of owning and undertaking the engineering, procurement and construction of a floating production, storage and off-loading vessel (FPSO) and to charter the same on a bareboat charter basis to the first JV Shapoorji Pallonji Bumi Armada Godavari Private Limited ( SPBAG), in the event SPBAG is successfully awarded an FPSO project. We are positive on this JV, as it is paving the way for potential projects that could be in the pipeline for the Group, thus we maintain our Outperform view on Bumi Armada, with an unchanged TP of RM0.90.

These are old News look at the date of the news. It is not as rosy as it sounds for GOB. Absolutely nothing. Incompetent management! What a stupid way to do business ? Raised rights issue and then venture into loss making F&B business. Destroy shareholders wealth. And then, sell off half of Batu Kawan land at pittance on the dollar.

Agree buy on weakness, Share buying philosophy, buy low, sell high. I see opportunity, just got 6 lots... at 1.33 so good but have to wait long term. The two Singapore ship building companies has collapsed giving this share more golden opportunities indeed.

Opec does nothing for this company and that is reality. Contracts will help Armada the net loss of 9million ringgit will plunge the share price lower. The oil price of 45-50 Us dollar per barrel of Crude will continue until next year. It is a wait and see investment.

The Objective News Report is very CLEAR, -65% down turn for the share price with a current TP of only 11 cents, the old TP a week ago was 29 cents. You will except it to slump down to 15 cents at least. This is the reality and these are the facts. Last quarter of 2015 gain $10 million ringgit but now at 1 st Quarter 2016 it lost $16 million ringgit. The buying on credit of the laying underwater cable contraption is costing the company dearly....

Just read the latest news from Analyst - they say that the Oil Glut situation is unstable and is DIRE and that it can plunge down to US $30 anytime without much warning. The condition as he puts it is UNSTABLE. The OPEC agreement has FAILED that means there will NOT be any stability for the Crude Oil Price and that is a fact. Najib's bad reputation does not help M'sian shares either.

When companies give out bonus shares and warrants we must ask why? Seems like they are trying to sell more shares trying to raise more cash cos the previous quarter earnings was down. It may seem to start sliding up right now cos people are just buying to try and get the bonus share and warrants. After than it will slide back down to where it was before .... this share is not going anywhere for the moment.

The market now is so volatile and unpredictable with Petrol prices so unstable that investing now may not be a good call for anyone but everyone have their own opinion and so feel free to buy now but I prefer to wait... and see what happens next after OPEC meeting.
