Repost:
When you tender and received contract to build FSPO for client long term lease you then borrow money (many billions) to build the FSPO. The borrowing is recorded as liabiliaties.
On the assets side during FSPO contruction period the asset is recorded as contract asset and when FPSO delivered to client and on production state it is recorded as finance lease receivables.

Building a new FPSO costs approximately US$ 2.5 Bn to US$ 3 Bn. However, the cost of conversion of an oil tanker is approximately between US$ 1.5 Bn and US$ 2 Bn

If only insas pay out to shareholders what Insas received from inari dividend what will be that dividend amount?

Stock

Wasted my so many years of asking BOD at every AGM to pay a reasonable, fair and equitable dividend.

Now I only know the real reason is Insas can't pay dividend.

Insas credit and leasing welcome anyone to borrow million or billion as long as you are qualified and even for a hostile takeover of Insas.
Nothing personal it is just business.

Thong by law still need to prove to Bursa he had the financial support to make a MGO for Insas shares that he and his PAC not owned.

Stock

Dato' Sri Thong is a great poker player. He keeep his cards close to his chest but sooner or later he need to increase his and his PAC holding and trigger 33% MGO.

Most likely that will happen when he and his PAC convert their Insas-WC.

Insas will be profitable for many years to come but what investors looking for is growth catalyst that will give sustain earning growth and that can only be acheived if Insas deploy its cash hoard to generate more incomes.

I spent yesterday traveling from Medan to Jakarta and then Jakarta to KL, now quarantined in Dorsett Subang.

I took the Citilink Flight from Medan to Jakarta, with no social distance and the flight1.5 hour late. Flight Jakarta to KL is MH 720 no delay A330-200, 8 emergency doors, manned with 2 male cabin staff and 4 air stewardess for economy class and 1 male cabin staff and 1 air stewardess for Business class. Diner served with plenty spared and air stewardess keeps asking if you need more food and drinks. I counted only about 50 passengers.

Now you know why i3lurker and PSAi3alert only fly with MAS.

Another new day and another new challenge. Life is like a book: Some chapters are sad, some are happy and some are exciting, but if you never turn the page, you will never know what the next chapter has in store for YOU. When it finally comes to the last chapter there are so many things and people you are grateful and thankful for that make this life worth living.

I thank all for the well wishes and prayers that my mum will make a speedy recovery.

Cash is not king in Insas case. Insas need to deploy its cash hoard to generate more earning for it share price to move north.

If only Insas has people like Brahmal Vasudevan talent to invest its cash then Insas price will fly.

Jaks will be look like a fool if they spend more money or taking up more borrowing for new Project/MOU when they did not take up the addition 10% JHDP that gave Jaks so much share of profit.

Know why JHDP 25% equity 75% loan reported very good profit but can't pay good dividend.
Bankers play safe wants their money back with interest in 10 years and you can have your plant for 25 years.

Or maybe China Partner depressed Jaks of money to take up the addition 10% option.
