You should short CapitalA because if CapitalA fail to submit PN17 regularisation plan on or before 7 Oct deadline, Bursa can either allow the third extension or reject the request for extension and proceed to suspend and delist CapitalA from Bursa.

Fact check:
AAX survive because of Debts restructure (pay just 0.5% of debts owed), capital reduction and 10 to 1 consolidation.
Do you think CapitalA can survive as a listing company without a debts restructure?
Anyway already too late for debts restructure as creditors are smart now to demand payment for every debts with interest.
CapitalA suspension and delist from bursa is inevitable. But you still can be a shareholders of unlisted CapitalA and do the Bollywood dance with Stony during yearly private AGM meeting.

Bruce_Wayne Why then is other operating, administrative expenses so high at RM13.077M in Q2 2023?
When average employee salaries & wages per quarter is only RM3.22M!
Answer is:

At the same time, Russia also extended its voluntary reduction in oil exports by 300,000 bpd until the end of the year. On the demand side, concerns about the health of the Chinese economy continue after services PMI at the world’s largest crude importer disappointed.

The airline is a joint venture between three Filipino businessmen and AirAsia. 60% of the airline is owned by Filipino investors Antonio O. Cojuangco, Jr., former owner of Associated Broadcasting Company and owner of Dream Satellite TV, Michael L. Romero, a real estate developer and port operator, and Marianne Hontiveros, a former music industry executive and TV host.[25] The remaining 40% is owned by AirAsia Investments Ltd. (later AirAsia Aviation Limited) of Malaysia.[7] The Public Service Act of the Philippines, prior to its amendment in 2022, only allowed a foreign direct investment of up to 40% in Philippine-registered airlines.[26]
In June 2019, Romero's F&S Holdings bought the shares owned by Alfredo Yao and Hontiveros, thus becoming the new majority shareholder in the company. Four months later, Romero acquired Cojuangco's shares, becoming the sole local owner (and parent company) of the airline.[4] In June 2023, F&S Holdings sold all of its shares to AA Com Travel Philippines for an undisclosed amount.

Business tycoon Sir Richard Branson fly AAX too.
Sir Richard Branson is AirAsia's Flight Attendant
Jumat, 19 Oktober 2018 23:30 WIB
TEMPO.CO, Sepang - AirAsia X flight number D7-237 flying from Perth to Kuala Lumpur is a flight like none other. Passengers had a once-in-a-lifetime experience being served drinks by none other than Sir Richard Branson, owner of Virgin Air, who cross-dressed as one of the flight attendants. Sir Richard's new gig was part of his promise to AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes after losing a bet a couple of years ago.
Sir Richard, founder and chairman of Virgin Group, wore lipstick, shaved his legs, put on a sexy red skirt and joined AirAsia X's cabin crew in a special charity flight. The business magnate spent the 5.5-hour flight serving food and drinks, giving out souvenirs, doing some entertaining and making in-light announcements to the passengers and media partners from around the globe. The charity flight is part of a fundraising program for the Starlight Children Foundation.

BursaMaster121212 i read other broker reports, they also mention similar things like Capital is eying to lift up the PN17 by certain timeline.....not sure why SSLee only targets TA. I think he should write in to other IBs also
Nowadays even a qualified and certified CFA IBs Analyst swallow hook, line, and sinker what is presented to them during CapitalA IBs analyst briefing without question ask.
● Revised official submission deadline to October 2023, aim to execute the plan in 4Q23/1Q24
That is why I suggest IBs analyst should include the briefing material, transcript of Q&A and interview as appendix.
I only have access to TA and Kenangan Analyst report and I found TA analyst make so many fundamental error/mistake that even an accounting student should not make.
By the way if you still holding CapitalA or thinking of buying CapitalA on the dip, my advise is whatsapp my email to your broking house or remisier and ask for their opinion.

Any reason why Jaks PP is way below its NTA per share?
2023-09-05 06:58 | Report Abuse
Remember when Jaks dispose JSB 51% equity in JIC (Net liabilities of RM174.4 million) to ICD for consideration of RM 1.00 and report RM 71.89 million accounting gain but later need to write off the intercompany receivables from JIC as impairment losses.
Proposed Disposal is expected to contribute positively to the consolidated earnings and EPS of JRB for the FYE 31 December 2020.
JRB Group is expected to realise a gain of approximately RM71.89 million from the Proposed Disposal against the audited NL of JIC as at FYE 31 December 2019 of approximately RM140.95 million

One-off exceptional gain on deemed disposal of equity interest in associate companies of RM 131.3 million.
Do anyone know what is deemed disposal?
Associated co - Inari completed private placement of 10% share at RM 3.10, way above its NTA per share, & insas needs to account for its equity accounting (Inari) share of share capital/reserve increase of RM 131.3 million, purely accounting treatment in compliance with FRS

HUAWEIHuawei Mate 60 Pro is the world’s first satellite calling phonePublished 6 days ago on August 29, 2023By Emiko MatsuiHuawei Mate 60 Pro satellite calling
Today, Huawei Mate 60 Pro launched as the world’s first phone with satellite calling feature. The company took this entirely new route to revolutionize satellite technology in mobile devices.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro users can directly call another smartphone using a satellite orbiting the Earth. This action happens without any mobile signal. Additionally, users can dial new numbers and receive incoming calls.
Currently, there are no details available on this matter. However, past information reveals that Huawei Mate 60 Pro is using China’s Tiantong-1 satellite system for its satellite calling features.
This is a satellite mobile communication system independently developed. It consists of a space segment, a ground segment, and user terminals. Currently, three of these satellites are in orbit.
What’s more interesting is that the satellite has no restrictions on signal coverage. This makes it seamlessly connected in mountains, oceans, plateaus, forests, and other scenarios.
To enable such tech, Huawei is using PA chips inside the Mate 60 Pro, which amplifies the signal and manages power consumption. A past report also suggests that the PA chips are developed domestically.
Last year, Huawei introduced the Mate 50 series with the first generation of satellite SMS, which allows only one-way SMS connectivity. In the Huawei P60 Series, Huawei upgraded this tech for two-way SMS conversation.
With this revolution, the latest satellite calling comes as a major achievement.

The figures
Group EBITDA up 325% YoY to RM462 mil on the back of Revenue of RM3.2 bil
Group operating cash flow over RM1 bil.
And the facts
Question 1: Why only present the positive; Group (“EBITDA”) of RM462 million in 2Q2023 and Group operating cash flow over RM1 billion to general investing public and IBs analyst but omitting to state that under MFRS 16:

(ii) On the Consolidated Cash Flow Statement, operating lease rental outflows, previously recorded within net cash flow from operating activities, are classified as “net cash flow used in financing activities” for repayment of principal of lease liabilities.
2Q2023:
Depreciation of right of use assets: RM (354,185,000)
Finance costs-lease liabilities: RM (235,975,000)

This is the question I put forward to TA analyst:
Question 7: 2Q2023 Current liabilities RM 14,208,631,000, current assets RM 2,269,900,000 thus net current liabilities RM (11,938,731,000), do you consider CapitalA is an insolvent company?
And this is the question I put forward to CapitalA IR
Question 2: 2Q2023 Current liabilities RM 14,208,631,000, current assets RM 2,269,900,000, net current liabilities RM (11,938,731,000), what is CapitalA plan funding in the next 12 months to meet the obligation of net current liabilities of RM (11,938,731,000)?
