yes, ytl is a good management better than the current one
so if you hope the company can do well in future, you must sell it to ytl, let them takeover the controlling power of the company

takeover at 0.995 is already a fact, is irreversible
you can only play hit and run in this counter, but not hold
pls do not listen to sinka, they wont responsible for your loss
the company is highly dependent on government grant for profit making
in fact, it is a net lost company if without government grant, RM0.995 is already premium price

yes, of course will kena tax 10%
reits that distribute 90% of their income as dividends will get tax exempted at the company level
therefore, it will be taxed at the individual level, which is the 10% withholding tax

Answer to 2023 tax issue: unutilised business losses where deferred tax assets previously recognised, now unrecognised
What is deferred tax asset?
Deferred tax asset is recognised for unused tax losses and unused tax credits to the extent that it is probable that future taxable profit will be available against which the unused tax losses and unused tax credits can be utilised
In short: this is the reversal of deferred tax assets
Reason (according to IAS 12): no probable future taxable profits
Means the company will continue to make losses in the future, and therefore no probable future taxable profits

turning from profit to loss
Then the company is making a very fantasy forecast for 2024 to derive the targeted dividend RM70m as mentioned, what if the actual result does not meet the fantasy forecast and it fails to declare 70m dividend, can shareholder sue them?

Latest information provided by remisier and bank research:
GENM is affected by service tax, the existing service tax (6%) is currently calculated as (gross gaming revenue - casino tax) x 6/106, to be increased to 8%.
Entertainment tax reductions from 25% to 5% are only limited to federal territories (KL, Putrajaya, Labuan), GENM does not benefit from the reduction.
