Thanks leoting for updating us current status in Malaysia and China. We got one expert in steel industry here. This time Ssteel has really brought steel and related counters back to alive after announcing good QR and generous dividends.

Better to ignore those noises. It's just like some predicted that Malaysia would soon to be bankrupt like Greece 2 years ago. lol.

Small durian are growing bigger and bigger. It's still long way to go before harvesting.

If Ssteel is able to deliver fully diluted EPS 7 cents next QR, share price can easily hit above 2.0. My estimation of PER is based on diluted EPS. It's very likely the company would report EPS above 5 cents in upcoming Qtr given the support of the anti dumping rulings.

Ssteel has the potential to pay 6 cents dividends or DY 4%. Let's make a conservation estimation of generating EPS 20 cents per share in a year, the company will be trading at PER 7.8x at current price. At such low multiple PER, Ssteel is an attractive stock among the steel counters now.

New processing plant is completed and will start contributing soon.

AR 2016:

First initiative, which is the construction of our new warehouse in the Port Klang Free Zone,
had been completed and commenced operations during the year. The warehouse currently has a
net usable factory storage space of approximately 95,000 sq.ft.

The second initiative had also been completed, which involves major renovation and refurbishment of our existing building located directly opposite Wisma Leon Fuat. The new processing plant has approximately 60,000 sq.ft. of usable factory space, housing both of our new CNC cutting machines as well as the relocation of our existing CNC cutting machine that we believe will enhance efficiency as well as production capacity. With the completion of this plant, it will become one of our key assets to enhance Leon Fuat’s profitability going forward.

MAsteel will be joining the bandwagon of Ssteel later....Expect to deliver good profits in upcoming QR.

The company has announced 3 cents dividends. It's really out of expectation. Gross profit margin is slightly improved to 14.9%. Well done! More to come in coming quarters.

Rcecap is expected to post better profit in the absent of one-off additional expenses

" RM 4.6 million costs were incurred for securing additional facilities,which has resulted in higher other expenses of RM18.6 million in the current quarter under review."

As stated in the AR 2016, the additional facilities secured by 31Mar2016 consisted of Term Loan 5 value RM 300 million and Revolving credits 5 & 6 value RM 200 million. I don't think they will apply additional facilities in big amount during FY 31 Mar17 since the funds raised in 2016 is sufficient to offset its loan growth this year.

The Maltodextrin Plant No. 3 is capable to produce 2,200 metric ton a month. With the completion of the project, the current total capacity of Maltodextrin products of the Group stands at 5,500 metric ton a month. The Group is ready for the next phase of growth.
