From my analysis it seems clear to me that with the selling from Honest Oppurtunity, the Mulpha management is saying that the time to move is not NOW. As you can see, the disposals from Honest Oppurtunity are direct sale into the market. As far as I know, unfortunately, Honest Oppurtunity; Top Champ; Klang Enterprise; Nautical; Magic Unicorn; Yong Pit Chin are PAIC.
So Mulpha probably need some more time to brew......

Whereas for SUNZEN the 20million disposal from the three founding directors are married deals which means they are private placements. AH Ha......that is telling a LOT!!!!!
Anyway watch out....Sunzen will explode soon.

Unfortunately, Calvin has generated a lot of Investor interest in Mulpha lately and created some momentum in this giant laggard. Therefore, with a bit of good corporate news from Management ( eg Bonus warrant/ Distribution of treasury shares/Good FY Q2 results) Mulpha share price can be upgraded and JUMP UP. Actually Calvin if you read the notes to Mulpha FY 2014 Q1 results, you will find that Mulpha Q1 results ACTUALLY posted a Condensed Net Profit of RM73million (Note : 1b) instead of the reported Loss of RM20million (Note : 1).

The NET Profit of RM73million is a the result of Gains from Foreign Currency Translation and also from gains on sale of Assets. The NTA of Mulpha increased from RM1.05 to RM1.11 !!!

You must understand Mulpha Main sharehoders are very strong holders and market player. They will squeeze out ALL the weak holders before they move the counter. On the other hand, with all the quality Assets in Mulpha, another theory is that the Main Shareholder to take Mulpha PRIVATE. This may still be good as Mulpha NTA is RM1.07 !!!
Well anyway looks as if its moving UP nicely!

In addition, Mulpha has investments in the following PLCs :
1. AOG (AVEO Group Australia -26.2% with market value of A$300milion (RM900Mil);
2. Mudajaya - 20% with market value of RM290Mil and
3. Mulpha Land - 71% with market value of RM72Mil
Totalling approx. RM1.262 Bil (or 59 sen per share).

On top of that, Mulpha owns many unlisted assets under Mulpha Australia such as Sydney Intercontinental Hotel; Sanctuary Cove and Hayman Island JV Sol Kerzner "One and Only Hotel".
In fact, half of Mulpha's investments are in property assets in Australia.

Amended announcement for Die Hard Supporters of CSL on 28 April 2014

"CSL announce unable to release the FY 31 December 2013 Accounts by 30 April 2014".

Therefore, CSL will be SUSPENDED on 9 May 2014 and NOT 8 May 2014 as earlier announced PENDING approval from Bursa for a Two (2) month extension.

Probably some quacky Dr and his side-kicks Leno/Chuo will be very happy and continue ranting aimlessly, almost deliriously mad at anyone and everyone who tries to "advice" them against CSL. Probably gone insane from losing so much in CSL-Wa and need a checkup in Tg Rambutan.

GROW UP !! You need a lesson in humility. V

Nothing much, company will be SUSPENDED on 8 May 2014 (as per announcement on 25/4/14).

Barring any approval from Bursa by 30 April 2014 for an extension of time for CSL to submit its accounts, CSL will be SUSPENDED on 8 May 2014;

Didn't you know last year, MulphaL jumped from 40sen to RM1.25 and proposed 3:2 Bonus Issue ?
Now its trading EX-Bonus @ 48sen. That's a good 200% gain. To me, that's a hidden gem!

MulphaL have the following projects planning in progress :
1. Tropicana Land Development Project GDV Amt of RM700mil ==> Net Profits RM70 -100Mil;
2. Section 14 Prime Development Property JV Project with Mudajaya/Mulpha support.

MulphaL is controlled by strong shareholders and shares are tightly held.

Hey qqq668...there's more than 1,000 listed companies in Bursa. Why would you promote or buy or support MAS simply because its cheap at 28sen ??11 To be honest, its not cheap at all as its bleeding badly.
And the sad part is, the MAS management don't even have a clue how to turn the company around. The MAS management is so very bad...

There's also many hidden gems out there about to break-out. Don't flog a dead horse to unsuspecting investors. At 28sens, you can buy so many other good stocks and double up. With MAS, you cannot. Just check the market price same time next year (after the FY2014 financial accounts).

Sometimes you have to lick your wounds, cut losses and look carefully for the right stock to Buy. Unfortunately, MAS is not one of them!

Bravo Christine !! You are one of the few Investors in this tread that makes very good analysis and relevant comments about the stock market (SM).
The SM is a zero sum game. For someone to make a profit another will lose.

Whilst Koon is writing about a Ideal Hypothetical Investor who is the super-cool super-rich Taukeh waiting for the Durian to fall in a dooms day scenario (such as 1997 Asian Crisis), most retail investors and even,some
institutional Investors were decimated in the 1997/1998 free fall crash. Most players ran out of bullets way before the market even reached bottom. If at all, most were running panicking to cover heavy losses and margin positions. Some in total despair and depression and even worst!.
OF course, on reflection, we can say why didn't we buy Maybank at RM1.50 or Ambank at Rm2.00 or any of the bluechips at 80%-90% discount !
Anyway talk is cheap. If anyone did BUY then congrats, you are that 1%!

I also commend Koon for your effort to present a Perfect Investor in an imperfect stock market that is controlled by market manipulators and regulators, determined by unexpected external/foreign market forces and shocks. How I wished I was the Super Rich Taukeh who had the funds to buys all the bargain stocks during the 1998 super crash. But no, I wasn't. BUT I have learnt and whilst I am invested now in a few stocks, I believe that moment of buying opportunity will come again as it always does, perhaps in a 15-20 years cycles and when that time comes, WILL YOU HAVE YOUR FUNDS READY AND BE BRAVE TO BUY AND INVEST FOR THE FUTURE ?? This is a question you alone can answer. The million dollar question.

I believe the first 10 years of anyone involved in the stock market is the learning curve and he/she will probably get burnt and lose money. This commentary by both Koon and Christine has some gems and truths which are very valuable to any Investor to understand and learn more about the risks, pitfalls and benefits in the stock market.
