9) Lastly, like i have said before in apr 2014, i m going to watch the oil palm grow (while this land turn from prime to even more prime over time)
(10) I belief in fellow investor Dragonsix means business when he discouraged speculators and said "a sleeping dragon" will "not just wake up suddenly".... * gasp gasp....haven't been typing so much for such a long time...fingers crammed! Lols!

(7) I think the board is brilliant by holding on to the primest piece of township land in this area (with a nice access built for them)
(8) I think that there is nothing irregular here but, there are impatient minority investors provoking others within their self vested selfish capacity, though unsuccessfully..

(5) i think the road is the road SAB is supposed to build on the same 20 acres if/when it develops the land in the first place (i think)
(6) I do too think that the board have successfully attracted & build goodwill with names like IJM, ECO WORLD, gamuda land & Tropicana and built good will into this surrounding neighbourhood (that is further enhancement) with a wisely made decision.

3) You seem to be hoping that they have "given" or "donated" the 20 acres land away so that you can pounce onto the board for wrong-doing. If this is your outlook or bad intention towards the board, let me suggest to u that there are many good counters out there for u to buy into which board decision will not make u angry. No need to be a minority and be so provoked and angry. I like happy fellow investors like squidoo. Not angry ones. Angry investors without substantial reasons are 'Bad' investors especially on issues regarding to our investments onto properly managed companies.
(4) 650 acres at 1,000,000 is 650,000,000. 630 acres at 1,300,000 is 819,000,000 with a well built road by IJM as access. That is a tangible 169 million value enhancement

Dear Albukhary, based on your previous statement, I've deduced that :-
(1) "rent" or "given" lah. If "rent", the opportunity cost is only the old oil palm trees' harvest on the said area. I think only rent lah. I don't think that this board is that stupid
(2) If the management says that the land is still owned by the co, why would we not believe them? I in my own opinion, believes them. Who and what is provoking u to be so sceptical?

Dear squidoo, pocket money?!! What pocket money??? I have full intention to intend my future bentley to bear the number plate "S4B"! That is over & above my kid's uni fees abroad! Haha!

If that is so, i personally think that they are being very responsible and they are protecting the speculative minorities...and wow! It's already 2 plus AM...gonna hit the sack! Good night my fellow investors!

Are u so sure that the BOD did not hold the view that the current economic & political climate is not favourable to property development and is not willing to take that risk now.
2015-09-03 02:09 | Report Abuse
Dear Albukhary, come to think of it, value of potential land bank does not necessarily translate to per unit share price mah...Many property companies trade at a large discount on the NTA, no?

Hi Albukhary.... you seems insistent on things being done your way. You comments like as though you are trying to undermine SAB. You seems to want to run SAB and not let the SAB BOD run the Co. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Bro Albukhary, Horay to u! I gonna go break my FD! Hahaha!

These are super strong major shareholders that u r dealing with. Maybe your intent is so that we both have plenty of time to collect more & more SAB shares at low prices. If that is the case, your tactic is damn cun!

Why on one hand try to get or force informations out of directors. And on the other hand, make insinuations and threats. The more u do press them, the more angry the directors & major shareholders get. Then the lower the price...(elementary la my dear Watson)

A medical doctor...? I'm most likely to be right that SAB is not about property development and all these discussion about JV, GDV etc is heading towards the wrong direction.

Hi there Cipta, sorry for the late reply been busy..regarding your question on governance, I personally believe SAB currently has a strong board for governence matter, I mean, look at the individuals, it sure is impressive! I feels that they surely know what they are doing. I'm confident that this board will not shortchange the shareholders.. both majority and minority, even kutty rats like me looking forward to building a retirement fund for myself and me cubs.... Hi there Cipta, I believe you were the one who mentioned about SAB's legal dispute & now you are praying for integrity? From my understanding of SAB's corporate structure, there are now 2 lawyers (one former federal court judge), 3 accountants & 1 former senior SC officer sitting on the SAB board, I don't see any problems in regards to integrity or governance...

Hahahahaha! Albukhary! U saw the recent planted palm trees as well? I guess my observation regarding this counter is pretty spot on! SAB is one of the earliest oleochemical player in Malaysia. Oleochemical is a renewable product derived from palm oil thus, planting of palm oil on land while waiting for property development to mature further near kota kemuning makes a lot of sense to me. I choose to believe that the board knows what they are doing. My guess is palm oil products is their focus. Property development is incidental la...SAB is definately not a counter for short term investors....}

Hi kltan, to be honest..I'm not that scared of the RM60 million case. My fear is more on the possibilities of shareholders dispute as per what Cipta refers to as a related party legal dispute. It could be the tip of an iceberg. As you know, any internal dispute is damaging to the company. SAB has a history of shareholders dispute. Somehow, rich people likes to fight over money! Hahaha! Anyway, they have earlier sometime in early 2000 tried developing this land (kemuning jaya, according to a friend of mine) but somehow dropped the idea and change direction. Subsequently, oil palm was replanted on this land.

Hi KLTAN, you really don't believe me meh..when I made this statement previously " I have to watch oil palm grow"? Hahaha!
Anyway guys, I've re-bought back my position currently below RM5, on the grounds that SAB is a decently managed oleochemical product company with a relatively small plantation hectarage. But having said that, I'm also not sure la wether or when the directors/owners will go into property development.
Does anyone here knows if any of the SAB directors is a property developer? That would be a good indicator for all of us, if the full value can come soon enough! I do believe though, SAB can rise but not so fast one lah...

Hi there fellow investor! i think public invest is right and also wrong. The land value is there in a nice location yes but this co is a palm oil oleochemical products co. Long term, good value but short term, a bit hard to keep on running-up. Now kena bursa unusual market activity query (UMA query), i think short term puncture lah....
