Between the sharks and the dolphins, I think the shark is not as dangerous as the dolphin. As least with the shark you can be aware and lose you limbs but with the dolphins you wouldn't know that it is dangerous and if the caught you are dead. he he he (I mean Ingens could be a dolphin)

Yeap, you must remember that it take 3 weeks to convert to mother share and by the time you receive your mother shares most probably it is below the 22 sen (your 12 sen + 10 sen conversion cost). These directors are businessmen (unscruplous people) and they are there to make money and are not a charitable organisation. Ingens are naking losses last year and what better way to make a few million bucks. Losing money is one thing but being a sucker is different. Not trying to discourage you because in Malaysia anything can happen but to give you some thought before committing your hard earned money.

They know that they cannot please everybody, so they please themselves with the fat bonuses. LOL

What I am trying to say is the maximum price is 55 sen which is the offer price. You wouldn't buy at 55 sen and get back 55 sen later on, okay.? Cheers.

I think should not be more than 50 sen. Just imagine would you give someone 55 sen now and then wait for 14 days to confirm if you will get back your 55 sen (the offer price) plus incurring some expenses and in the end if the deal is aborted you stand to lose. (Unless you expect them to increase the offer price). So the 5 sen above is the risk you take for holding the share until confirmation. Only my 2 sen worth.

I am still not convinced. I still think it is a bluff because the warrant it still too low at 12 sen and conversion is 10 sen. so if mother is say 45 sen son will be about 35 sen approximate gain of 23 sen per share or nearly 192%. These directors are businessmen and they won't be so generous. Anyway wish those having them good luck.

Grss, I think the price will not be near to the offer price of RM2.90 because (1) there is no likelyhood that the offer will be raised
hence (2) there is a risk that offer price maybe lowered (like Eng Tegnology's case) as the offer is still pending (3) waiting time (who would pay you RM2.90 now and wait say one month later to get back RM2.90)
(4) some buying cost involved like brokerage, stamp duty. So when the offer is firm the price will be nearer to or at RM2.90. Just my 2 sens. hope it is what you are looking for. Good luck.

We are busy thinking how to make money but do we give a thought to whether our funds are actually with them or not? Given recently what happened in the US broking firm, are we safe here? that is they are not investing with our funds? Actually we can reduce our risk here but are the authorities willing to look into it.
a) placing our money in a bank instead of the IB but with full authority to withdraw / deposit from our account by presenting our contract notes / contra losses.
b) we can check our accounts online and we are protected up to RM250,000 each individual per bank. We can detect any discrepancy in our accounts immediately. Because we can monitor our accounts online any thoughts of using our funds for "temporary' investment is strongly discouraged.
