Yes. This is a good defensive counter. Very well managed. Ignored by all the mainstream press and investors, even though its earnings has been solid, even in this modern era of smartphones. I guess people really love G-Shock watches.

If you're going to buy construction. you are better off buying Eversendai, Sycal or AWC. There is at least some margin of safety (not to be confused with buying on margin).

I'm generally not too enamoured with construction counters, due to lack of earning visibility, low net margin and rampant corruption.

Personally, as long as there is money sloshing about in the markets, this counter will most definately hit RM1.50 within the next 6 months. Thats is a conservative 16% return from todays closing price. Thats my opinion. This is not professional advise, okay.

Find what works for your personality and use it. I hate diversification. But thats just me. I prefer to identify and build large positions in one or two counters. Suits me, but may not suit the small investor.
