Why buying 1 Inari at RM 1.98 when with the same money I can buy 2.46 Insas at 0.805 and thus indirect hold more than 2 Inari and everything else in Insas.

my job i have to sit in front of my computer whole day looking at my trading screen.... how i know? same pattern everyday, waiting for buyer to accumulate bids then throw down slowly block by block.... you see how long the price stagnant already while other tech stocks fly to the moon?.... tomorrow i hope huge buying coming in after today's breakout... the QR should be good based on the demand during the COVID lockdown but based on the price movement i really shouldn't be optimistic....

hi, isn't this getting a bit selfish? a bit greedy? ....... i have to disagree with you on the share buybacks- 1) this is an investment holding company, they should be buying other companies for growth, not buying back own company shares and 2) i believe share buybacks are not efficient way of utilizing capital, companies in other countries, like USA, do this instead of giving away as dividend because dividends are taxed in their country, the shareholders don't like it, this is not the case in malaysia....

i think you can just go buy inari if you really want more inari or buy more george kent, they everyday buy back their own shares....

Large glove manufacturers such as Top Glove and Hartalega are largely OEM manufacturers. OEMs manufacture gloves for under the brand of their customers such as large medical distributors (e.g. Medline, OneMed, Marbena, Cardinal Health, Microflex, Ansell, Kimberly Clark), government agencies (Defence or Health Ministries) and non-profit organizations (e.g. WHO,United Nations).

OEMs are not keen to build their own distribution network.

Firstly, this is to avoid any conflict of interest.

Secondly, managing warehouses and logistics in the destination markets is not their core expertise especially compared to the scale of their production. Another challenge in distribution is the huge variety of products to be stocked and sold, not just a single product - gloves.

The typical logistics or sales cycle is as follows: UG manufactures the gloves from its factory and ship to its warehouses in the UK, China, Brazil and Germany. UG services many end customers that may just order several cartons every week. UG needs to have sufficient stock to meet such consistent orders for next day delivery. For effective sales, UG needs a local sales team to promote the brand, speak to customers, engage in marketing activities and provide after-sales support.

For more than a decade UG has spent building a distribution network for its own branded gloves. It started with Germany and this has now grown to major emerging countries such as Brazil, Nigeria and China (Figure 14, Figure 17). Brazil is a notable country with high barriers to entry due to the need for every glove to be barcoded.

Tiong2268, regarding your theory about warrant expiry and investment bank manipulating the price, don't be confused by conspiracy theory lah.... warrant c3 expire tomorrow, i know because i am holding some and i decided to hold till maturity and do settlement with RHB.... the price still shoot up rm2.90 today and the settlement price will be all time high for the warrant at 1.84.....so don't think too much, in a liquid market the IBs are also price taker can't really control much....

TSMC up.... ASE tech up.... MI down.... means result not as good as expected....
