How many different industries can a company be involved in and be successful. All the O&G companies I've known that expanded into may different O&G lines have failed with many going bankrupt. Serba have diversified even further outside O&G (into "Space" reselling internet access). Companies just get too large to manage effectively and efficiently.

Imagine going into a new industry for which you have no experience and not taking over an existing company. Don't forget Karim has awarded a software contract to a hardware company stating they do the same thing - pretty much the same as him saying let the Formula 1 mechanic drive the car and the driver maintain the car.

It is not necessarily a good sign. It would also need a lot of funds but maybe that's where the RM4.5b is?

I am still awaiting the announcement that EY have agreed to perform the IR. I am also still awaiting feedback on whether KPMG's lawyers have agreed to allow KPMG to provide their data to EY.

I am more expecting a sanction from Bursa / SC on the above and the 'fact' (as stated by Cheah Chor Sooi) that only the 11 addresses are the issue being reviewed in the IR.

Bursa and SC have made it very clear, and instructed Serba, that the IR is to address all KPMG's red-flagged issues which includes the RM4.5b that doesn't quite add up (70% of Serba's value when the share price was RM1.6, more than twice the "value" at the current share price).

As I said I sold 75% of my USA shares as I thought a correction was coming. Had I waited a few days I would have cashed an extra $3k.

To my credit, I have always predicted a crash or correction, it's just that my timing is hopeless.

I suggest you consider keeping your money in MY until the correction comes, you may even get a better exchange rate then - you could look up historical exchange rates with USA market dips.
