seph, i ask you one very important question. do you think Mayland accumulating the LA now at the low price now? look at the volumn and price. It is their opportunity to increase their shareholdings in their future play. since i believe some of the people not very sure bout the conversion rate, they sell with discount :D

barbarian, i suggest you read all starting from page 1 to 87,from 2012 until today. If you want to know a company's risk and rewards, there's really no short cut though :)

The mother share L&G still standing still? Its been consolidate for quite sometimes already.

keelin, there is two methods to convert, expired in 2018 September(5 years)

1. 2 LA = 1 mother share.
2. 1 LA + 13 sen = mother share

LA got 1% interest, Lets Assume you hold 100,000 unit, you will get RM 130 as interest , (100,000 x 0.13 x1%)

mother share no dividend now. But just in case got dividend in the future, you can top up 13 sen each and convert to mother share. or u sell half of the LA to the market, gather fund to convert another half to mother share. now LA is traded at its discount to the mother share. 0.415 + 0.13 = 0.545, now mother share is 0.555

Nemesis, not wise to say people are foolish just because you are not agreeable to other people trading method. Some unfortunate buyer bought at high price, get caught at peak price, when the price go all the way down hitting their cut loss point and the selling pressure don't seem to stop, they have to cut loss. Market is there, they can buy back when the dust is settle, or the selling pressure has stopped which they have more confident to buy. =)
