Morning everyone. Careful not to get caught in trades that assume the ringgit will weaken further. The Doha summit or the strike in Kuwait do NOT change the big picture. While fundamentals for gloves are reasonable, I still don't think there is much upside in the near term. Would continue to give Supermax a miss for now and seek higher risk-reward in other stocks. Knee jerk selling over yesterday. Today should stabilize and may be good time to buy more, if can hold.

Yesterday's selling could have been the unwinding of speculative positions ahead of the Doha submit last Sunday. If that is true, the selling will be very short term, and we could see AA recover very soon, as early as today. Hope for the best!

AA down on volume. Usually not a positive sign. Selling mainly due to the sharp decline in oil and weak ringgit. Regional bourses were weak too. However, these factors tend to be very temporary. Let's see how oil and ringgit behave tonight after the knee jerk selling today. After some near term weakness, AA should recover once the market focuses on its improving fundamentals again.

Good morning guys! Doha meeting on Sunday to freeze oil production did not succeed. Oil is down more than 5% in Asia trade and Ringgit weakened sharply to 3.9501 this morning. Not going to be good for sentiment on oil & gas stocks and there could be some knee jerk selling this morning. KNM may fall more first but i believe it will bounce back soon, have to hold. Ringgit sharply weaker this morning at 3.9495 after Doha meeting on Sunday did not resuilt in an agreement to freeze oil production levels. Oil is more than 5% down; this morning in Asia trading. There will be some knee jerk reaction this morning I guess but the overall picture of improving fundamentals for AA has not changed. Hope for the best!

Macro factors were mixed overnight but I don't think it changes the big picture which remains weak for gloves. I cannot buy with conviction and so will be giving Supermax a miss for now. Overnight global markets steady and ringgit not much changed at 3.8925 this morning. It is a Friday but hoping it can rise to 2.20 today.

Supermax had a mild bounce and is already correcting. As i warned many times before, this bounce is unlikely to sustain. If you look at the macro factors - the Yen, the new IMF forecasts and the Fed's beige book last night - all suggests that the big picture for gloves has not changed. Good morning guys! The sharp rise in AA over the last two days surprised me. I expected AA to remain at below 2.00 and only rally after the EGM on 9 May, ahead of its 1Q1y6 results. Probably some institutions or foreigners buying but do they have an agenda in the coming EGM? The plot thickens! Anyhow, fundamentals are improving and valuation cheap, so I have been averaging up recently. I suspect the best is yet to come. Happy investing!

EPF sold on 6 April. Not surprising, I suspect a lot of people also sold that day due to the uncertainty of the DCA fee hike. Things should have settled down by now. Should be good time to re-enter if can hold.

I think the simple mathematics actually not so simple. 4 sen could be correct if it is one year only or a one-off but this is every year. Looked at it another way, the price is a function of EPS X PE. You must also take into account the PE?

If you are really as good as you claim to be, people can sure see it and all will follow you. Don't have to try to force people to agree with you.
