They are selling the subsi and not their business.. so it doesnt affect their debts or creditors ...

David - becos Jobstreet selling off the Subsi to JobsDB for 1.7billion. Then Jobstreet Bhd will be like "empty shelf" .. so under Listing Rules, the company has to be listed as PN17 status. The proceeds from sale of subsi will be returned to shh as a special dividend. So basically.. the forum is discussing..
1) How much we getting back from the special dividend. TheStar said RM2.72/sh.

2) How much Jobstreet berhad will value after the sale... becos if it's PN17 status.. will it become Penny Stock

so.. with that reservations, whether can buy Jobstreet at current RM2.54/55. I also think is a buy... just accumulated

This counter always rally one day then tricked retail public to buy at high price then fall back cos no more volume. Before Us QE it was as high as 80+ then fell back to 67 I think before slowly go up to 0.7 then rally then now hovering at 0.73/0.74. Maybe next rally can push up a bit but I rather put money elsewhere cos many more attractive counters. Now GST rules

Reason of cliq getting hot is becos of anticipation that it is going to announce its acquisition.. Meaning cliq is turning from empty shelf into a real biz. Nothing to do with petronas awarding jobs .. Just Too far to benefit cliq

Probably cos now oil n gas is hoooot. But tomorrow probably a quick rally. Then slow down? But long term is definitely worth it. Keep till next year is good for its solid results expected

This counter is not liquid.. like those ASiABRN, PESTECH kind of counters.. but just annoucned its quarterly result hours ago.. solid result..

basically the company (DAYA) is buying back its own shares like it is an investor just like u and me do...

and these treasury shares that they keep, the company has various options on how to deal with it.

Eg:
1) Give it to shareholders as Dividends

2) Cancel the shares, so that the no of shares in company reduce...

3) Sell back the shares (like investor selling off investment)

So.. DAYA is selling its shares which normally is quite a "strange signal" la.. cos does that mean the co forsee that the price is "at ceiling" that they themselves not keeping.

or maybe they needed the cash.. so have to sell shares?
or maybe they needed to increase public float?

This counter is very sad story.. Rally normally one day then die off for many many days.. Lets see if Monday it is true. Another quiet day..
