Serba expanded too fast and bit out more than it could chew
so it has to keep raising and burning cash

as it result it cooked the books to make figures look good and to give pp for monies in order to survive
till Kpmg spotted and voiced out and then everything unraveled

For Kgb same caution must apply as prices run ahead of real fundamental

do not chase now

wait till there is real visibility in Receivables turn into real profits

a company exist to make real monies

Then you all should go tell Auditors to do these

1. Verify all the Jobs Awarded whether these are reliable entities

2. Do a thorough break down of all Receivables in a case by case study

which ones have been 100% received within 30 days 60 days , 90 days, 120 days or 180 days or over 365 days

Auditors who failed to do due diligence are also out there

at the end of the day 95% of market players will lose out if we don't do our own due diligence

Public Bank?

their loans are backed by Solid Collateral in real assets like real estates or proven income with payslips of monthly cash salary esp from Johoreans earning in Sing dollar

as for Kgb ?

it is backed by Receivables of 18 months rolled over

not yet due?
same was done in Serba as well

Jaks also got similar accounting but under different names

Its "profits" parked under Investment in Joint Venture
At first only Rm300 mil "profits" now grow to over Rm800 millions "profits"

All useless as it cannot cash out but stuck there. Real or fake "profits" no one knows

Just be very careful if any entity tells us glowing story but show "no real cash" in the balance sheet or in the bank

Thplant's dividends currently among the lowest plus it's debts about Rm730 millions not counting sukuk loans

but do you notice these?

bplant also got similar amount of high debts near Rm800 millions

Jtiasa managed to pare down it's debts from Rm1.2 Billions to only Rm93 millions

Tsh did even better. It slashed it's debts from Rm1.46 Billions to only Rm77 millions

As for Bplants it's land assets are the largest among all at 240,000 acres or 1.3 x Spore land areas of 180,000 acres

Thplant just need to sell a little over 7 plots of lands in Sarawak and it will more than cover all debts and then become cash rich as well

Interesting to see buyers willing to pay Rm1.56 for Bplant even though offers by Ltat stands firm at Rm1.55 takeover offer

What should you do?

According to Mr. Yap from Eagle Group who contacted Ltat Cfo it is said that if you submit acceptance form for Rm1.55 you will get your payment within 10 days

Should prices be raised higher later, say, to Rm1.65 then Ltat will further pay you the final different sum of 10 sen

So this looks like the best course of action

Now three things can happen

1. Ltat finally get to garner more than 90% of Bplant shares
Then Compulsory Mgo will be triggered
Irrespectively whoever owns the rest they will have to surrender all Bplant shares to Ltat and get Rm1.55 per share

2. IF PRIVATISATION IS BLOCKED THEN LTAT MIGHT BE FORCED TO RAISE ITS FINAL OFFER PRICE TO A MORE FAIR OFFER.

3. OR PRIVATISATION COULD FAIL. IN THAT CASE BPLANT WILL REMAIN LISTED
