i saw that supermax QR announcement is 20 or 21 May... that means earlier by 8 days... which also mean better than normal result... usually announce later than standard, bad.... announce earlier than standard could be surprise... :)... standard is usually 28 of the month...

@pang, in ur opinion harta result is considered good? Im a bit neutral... meaning potential is there but earnings is still not showing yet.... maybe next qr...?

The investment supermax put in for a distribution centre is less than 50 million usd... which is really cheap for a warehouse factory... these investment starts to pay off now, as it can now store other products for sales under their brand... eg face mask, cotton, vinyl gloves, pu gloves etc... meaning now u have the brand power and u can now source from china oem to supply to healthcare under ur brand... etc... the only sad thing is the factory expansion did not work well over the past few years which now need to accelerate...

Suddenly pple will realise business model of supermax.. owning of own brand, own overseas warehouses or distribution centres, paying top dollars for business owners worldwide instead of only paying salesman, and finally supporting many independent dealers worldwide... and finally going direct to healthcare centres instead of middle man...

All these while they only give supermax pe 17... wow, thats so cheap...

my calculation does not factor in other cost saving like low oil price, low natural gas, strong usd , OBM advantage (top glove had a 100% ASP increase on own brand)etc.

re: freetospeak... still can't really calculate the RM100mil profit by just adding 5% extra revenue...
example:
RM385mil * 1.05 = RM405mil revenue... lets say expenditure stays the same, then RM385mil - RM330mil = RM75mil
Also, capacity is increased by 10% due to new plant = RM385mil * 1.05 * 1.10 = RM445mil
Lets say expenses increase by 10% due to more materials to be used = RM330 * 1.1 = RM363mil
Then new profit = RM445 mil - RM363 mil = RM82mil..

well, i may be wrong somewhere... but definitely profit will increase alot more if
1) More than 5% increase
2) Selling inventories as well....

but just want to tally with you the 5% effect how to get RM100mil alone? still not sure...

last time I checked on Amazon before covid 19, Aurelia brand usually sells for USD 5 or 6... but now I saw mostly USD 20.... not sure this is price by dealer or whether supermax will also benefit bcoz at the retail, it's front by dealers or online shop and not supermax in US... Supermax in US is only a distributor.... but still, if price rise by 30% to the dealers, is already a lot...
