moment of truth. no matter how good or how bad a stock is. without syndicate moving it, small prawns like us would not make money. the only thing i can share. it will reach 40c sooner or later. :)

Another superman way to calculate. Use DCF! Assume FCF at 144mil, with 3% growth, taking its debt and cash into account, it is worth RM8.3!!!

Order book at 6.2bil. IF i assume delivery time frame in 4 years, net profit margin @ 10%, EPS = (6.2bil / 4) * 10% / 300mil = ~0.52c. AT PE 12, it is worth RM6.2!!! This is assuming that they are not getting any project in the near future. I calculate like this. like kindergarden student. sorry fellow sifu. HAHA :)

Good company with solid balance sheet and healthy cash flow. However, revenue cagr for the past 5 years only 5% but profit stagnant. The only growth element is the e-hub thingy which might boost its growth in future. I would say fully valued for now.

SPLASH is a cash cow for Gamuda, contributes to 25% of its profit every year. correct me if i am wrong. Actually it is good for Gamuda if gov delays the take-over again. :)

The Group anticipates a good performance this year from the steady earnings of expressway concessions division and the ramping up of works for KVMRT Line 2. The property division’s performance is expected to pick up in the next few quarters due to the launches of several new projects in Malaysia and overseas.
VS comments from Q1
The Group anticipates a good performance this year from on-going construction projects and steady earnings from the water and expressway concessions division. However, with the softening residential and non-residential property market in Malaysia, weaker growth for the property division is expected over the coming quarters.

tq moneysifu for your kind explanation. The way i look at D&A, is like required maintenance or cost for you to buy new machines to replace the obsolete ones in order to maintain your current business. I understand that not all machines which have been depreciated to zero book value are obsolete. So, my question is actually "are they spending too much capex to cover D&A to maintain current business instead of expansion?" Is it the nature of broiling industry?
2017-03-22 21:29 | Report Abuse
IamGoogle, cab looks all good but i have only one concerns. why is its d&a so high? why they need so much for maintenance? almost equivalent to its net profit every year. appreciate if u can share your view.
2017-03-22 11:45 | Report Abuse
hey guys, anyone care to explain why its d&a so high? common in broiler industry? why need such high maintenance?
2017-03-22 01:55 | Report Abuse
fellow sifu, anyone knows why its capex / D&A are so freaking high?
capex > 200% of its net profit
D&A about 100% of its net profit
for the past 5 years. WHY? is it nature of this broiler business?
