just read the terms of the agreement again, note item e) :

ICSB shall be entitled to nominate and appoint two (2) Non-Independent Non-Executive Directors
in the Board of Directors of PWI and a Chief Executive Officer upon the issuance of New shares in
PWI issued by PWI to ICSB, following the completion and acceptance of the due diligence exercise
within two months from the date of this Agreement.

Cycle & Carriage shareholders will be dancing now, taken private at 2.2, 64% increase from last closing price of 1.34

difficult to move up really, so many shares in the market but if we look at PE wise, its really cheap at the moment, once HIB starts declaring dividends, my expectations is the price should be around 18x, but as ongth60 has mentioned, HIB is a growth stock

well i did warn that so far this year, they have release 180 million shares into the market and its difficult to go up when every week there are 2-4 million shares being converted @ 20 cents, will probably have to wait till they are all converted before we see some meaningful movements..

i have been with this stock since it first listed, from 1.70 to 0.20 cents, they did get conned by Rex, management was a bit naive at that time but has since got in some experienced guys..

i expect some selling today, hoping for uptrend to continue

1.37 only? most will reject it, as the list price was 4.55... SM will have to up his price.. it will be same as kampung baru land la.. sure got 2nd or even 3rd offer to close the deal

be weary of this stock, at all time high, matter of time before it tanks.. Lavo is not what it used to be, i eat there every other month as its close to me...volume of customers has been slowly declining compared to a year ago.. problem with F&B is that the Malaysian consumer is very fickle, always wanting to try something new.. every 2-3 years got to change concept to survive

yeah but there is still a Due Diligence that Innoprice has to do on PW to see if they shares are worth 5 cents. While supply log agreement has been signed, worse case scenario is that Innoprise wants a lower entry point, PW refuses and just pay for the logs. Either way, got raw materials to run the factory.

personal point of view, selling overdone but there could be other factors that we are not privy to..

they are the ones suing for over payment and expenses have been recorded/booked already, so, no effect on P&L, if they win, just upside to their accounts minus expenses

On Oct 30, Uzma said its wholly-owned unit is taking legal action against Khan and Kong for overpayment of works worth RM63.14 million.

Uzma said Uzma Engineering Sdn Bhd (UESB), Khan, and Kong were involved in a construction project known as the KNPG-B Topside Ph II, Kinabalu Non-Associated Gas (NAG) Development Project and disputes have arisen therein.

However, an analyst who declined to be named said there was "nothing wrong" with the legal suit as its outcome will either be positive or neutral to Uzma.

"There is nothing wrong with the legal case. The project was given back to Uzma, and Uzma continued to deliver the project with expenses already booked.

"Should Uzma win the case, there will be a write-back that will reflect positively on their cash flow, but if otherwise, there will be no impact to Uzma as no impairment is needed," the analyst told theedgemarkets.com today when contacted.

Uzma is seeking to claim against Khan and/or Kong for the total sum of RM63.14 million and interest as well as an order for payment by Khan to UESB of all sums found to be overpaid by UESB to Khan and/or Kong in respect of the works under the project upon the determination of the final sum of such overpayment during trial of this action

yeah but as prices go up, the US will probably add more rigs.. if i am not mistaken, US Shale cost is about USD 40-50 a barrel, if oil prices continue to go down, they will just stop or reduce drilling, if it goes up, they will just add on more rigs... hence i think oil prices will be at USD 50-65 for a very long time unless there is war in the middle east..

not as simple as that, US shale oil can go on for tens or years...

am surprised that the counter has not run up prior to it going ex, just hope it does not drop more.. last year the gave out 0.5 cents but when it went ex, the counter dropped 9 cents... :(
