RI means more share to be floated and of course there's a dilution and therefore there's a price adjustment. However, you as a shareholder are given the right to purchase it at 1.00 which is way below the share price now. So even it adjust, you will still not lose anything if you buy the rights. In average you still earn. Plus the dividend ex as well the day after.
