Quarter Review The Group registered a total revenue of RM33.4 million for the quarter ended 31 October 2024 (“Current Quarter”), which represents an increase by RM4.4 million or 15.2% as compared to the same quarter of the previous year (“2nd Quarter FY24”). The increase was due to higher sales for both manufacturing & trading segment during the period under review.

In line with the higher revenue, we recorded higher gross profit of RM8.9 million at the Group level for the Current Quarter representing an increase of RM0.4 million or 4.7% as compared to the 2nd Quarter FY24.

Profit before tax amounted to RM3.9 million at the Group level for the Current Quarter, representing a decrease by RM0.7 million or 15.2% as compared to the 2nd Quarter FY24 mainly due to higher exchange losses. On the back of the lower profit before tax, the Group registered a decrease of RM0.5 million or 13.5% in the profit after taxation to RM3.2 million for the Current Quarter as compared to the 2nd Quarter FY24.

For the second quarter ended 30 September 2024, the Group reported a remarkable 35.9% increase in revenue, reaching RM115.1 million, compared to RM84.7 million in the same quarter last year. The substantial growth was primarily driven by a significant surge in orders within the Apparel division.

However, the Group also experienced a notable decline in profitability, with a 151.5% increase in the loss after tax, which rose to RM10.4 million, compared to RM4.1 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The increase in the loss was largely attributed to an unrealized foreign exchange loss of RM7.7 million, following the depreciation of the US dollar against the Ringgit Malaysia.

he Group recorded total revenue of RM19.1 million in the current quarter ended 30 September 2024 as compared to RM14.6 million in the preceding year corresponding quarter ended 30 September 2023. The increase of revenue mainly contributed by the sale of completed property from Belezza Phase 3 Project and a sale of land amounting to RM4 million during the current quarter ended 30 September 2024.

The Group recorded profit before tax of RM15.2 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2024 as compared to RM4.6 million loss before tax in the preceding year corresponding quarter ended 30 September 2023. This was mainly due to the disposal gain of a wholly-owed subsidiary company, Magnitude Knight (M) Sdn Bhd, amounting to RM6.8 million and a sale of land amounting to RM3.9 million during the current quarter ended 30 September 2024.

The Group recorded profit after tax of RM22.0 million for the current quarter, a decrease of 59.4% from RM54.3 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter.
