Nemesis, CMSB and Mitra in my property development and construction portfolio are doing well. Only Mkland is a bit laggard for now. Maybe lack of catalysts even though it is cheap now?

$16 million is chicken feet for him. Mr Kasi Palaniappan is a former architect and university professor who had assets valued at $US127 million ($165 million) in 2006, according to Forbes
Also, it is unclear if an Australian court will be able to retrieve the outstanding debt from an overseas jurisdictio

Also not sure if they will able to extract that RM45 million from kasi since he is not doing much business in Australia. Most likely it will be settled outside of court. Maybe Kasi will ask for higher dividend for MKland shares if he has to pay off that debt :)

In new court documents lodged in the Federal Court in Perth, Mr Kasi Palaniappan has argued a bankruptcy notice issued in January had no force because he "was not a resident of Australia [and] … was not carrying on business in Australia".
It is unclear whether Westpac will be able to retrieve the outstanding debt from an overseas jurisdiction, as it will likely depend on whether Mr Kasi Palaniappan has assets in a country where the courts would hear the bank's plea.
A Westpac spokesman said the bank was in litigation with Mr Kasi Palaniappan in Australia "and in other jurisdictions".
"As those proceedings are ongoing, we are not in a position to make any further comment at this stage," the spokesman said.
Mr Kasi Palaniappan is a former architect and university professor who had assets valued at $US127 million ($165 million) in 2006, according to Forbes. He is still listed as a director at the Malaysian company he founded, MK Land.

Maybe this counter needs coverage from more investment banks. Only JF Apex gave a TP for Gadang. Mitra also started to fly this year when more investment banks pay attention to it.
