People sell after ex dividend and because of incoming gst. Dividend yield is now very attractive but it is important to diversify and not buy only this counter to protect ourselves

Why the sudden rise?

I have bought mitra last year. This year I wish to diversify to other construction stocks. Gadang has PE of 6.4 and seems promising. What caused the recent sell down from rm2?

Someone need to put this stock in a wok to warm it up and to bring out its true flavors, If not, this will be just a dividend stock with no capital appreciation. My average price for this stock is still around 45 cents.

@shinado: Oh, I thought he meant last quarter and not preceding year quarter. From quarter 2013-08-31 to quarter 2013-11-30 the dividend is only 4 cents. From quarter 2014-09-30 to quarter 2014-12-31, the dividend is 5.50 cents. But we have yet to see if FY15 dividend is lower than FY14 (9 cents).

@Jason: Not every quarter has dividend. To have dividend for the past two quarters is good news for the shareholders
