1) Now until the exercise date, it will go within the range of 0.8 to RM1! I make this assumption is purely based on the view that the big funds come in and grab the stocks, THHS will not let the price goes down so easily then make the price of RI not attractive!

2) Let assume the price at the exercise date is RM1, so the ex right price will be (1+1+.4)/3 which is equal to RM0.8 plus free warrant!

If we have bought 2k shares at 0.5, then

Scenario 1

We dont subscribe the RI shares, so after ex right your worth is 0.8x 2k=1,600. Total return is 1,600/1,000=160%


Scenario 2

We subscribe the RI shares, so after ex right price your worth is 0.8x3k shares=2,400 with the new warrant. Total return will be 2,400/1400=171% plus the free warrant!

Therefore to subscribe the RI shares is better than letting it goes away!

Rich, regarding to your doubt, then let us change our view a bit, let say we buy one property in new area when it is just started, the property sure is cheap as a lot of the things not up yet! There are different type of ppl and some be more agressive one and buy the view of the potential is great and don't mind to buy now, some are play save type and will come in when all the things that have been promises are done and of course they will pay a high premium!
