Prices of goods rising due to negative events are acceptable.
However, problems like these end without bringing down goods price.
It stays high until the next problem arises and sharks are quick to raise the prices citing the latest problem. Some problems are recurring, for example currency value but the inflated goods price remain. The worst part is the products packaging diminish with high price. Double whammy for consumers. There have been no meaningful reduction in price. Even if it does reduce, it half hearted exercise due to force.
