Anyway, I'm too busy analysing Japanese & US companies these days where transparency is much greater, managements actually pay attention to minorities without trying to shortchange them at every opportunity & takeovers [I've been involved in 7 of them in Japan myself] are regularly done at a significant premium to the past few years' price ranges...particularly memorable is the ¥3,400 takeover bid for my Sekonic shares at a time when the price was below ¥1,000 & my cost was ¥1,275. More recently, Teraoka Seisakusho was taken over for ¥564 when the mkt price was ¥350 & my cost was ¥380. Don't hold out hopes for a bid raise of more than 10-20c here!

Even SG which I don't hold a high opinion of in the offeror shortchanging department at least produced a fairly generous 40% premium bid for my Great Eastern shares by OCBC recently.

I wonder why ppl even consider wasting their time with MWSG? Ever since the previous bosses Rita & her successor left in 2019, it's a toothless, useless organisation. They didn't lift a finger for Genting minorities(if not for such a large cap, diverse far-ranging shareholder profile, then why so for a low profile, low free float co?) in '19 despite my complaints to them & didn't reply when I wrote to them in '21 that certain companies were abusing the virtual AGM platforms to ignore shareholder questions. However, gd luck approaching Surin personally though I doubt he will raise his offer.

It's obvious that MWSh!tG is full of MAKAN GAJI lazy types sama2 macam many cap ayam local companies like POS M'sia etc.

You ppl are unlikely to succeed(although as a shareholder, I would love if you did): this Thai-born fella privatized MWE for a significant discount not too long ago & let's not forget the '19 MAA debacle where despite new shareholders buying large blocks & successfully blocking the privatization, they ultimately LOST BIG because it plunged way below their cost of $1-1.05 & the major shareholder there vindictively cancelled all future dividends, depriving them of compensation for their paper losses till now & compounded their pain by gambling recklessly with their money in junk stocks like KNM!

Those who bought in 2014 months after the IPO are losing $ on this offer. And btw MWSG doesn't give a rat's f@rt about you minorities: I found that out after Genting's criminal involvment in Catskills in 2019.

Yesterday, refused to allow the holiday to stop my earning streak so I SOLD the last of my spun-off GE Vernova shares for US$178.43 to end my 7-year involvement with General Electric with a 29% gain. A streak that is 952 days long today dating back to Jul 29th 2020, thanks to YTLPower!

Chart-wise, the stock looks set to rise more or less consistently UP till the last week b4 ex-dividend!🤗

The main shareholder has been buying consecutive days & its shareholding is now up to over 525 mil from 501 mil in 2019. Pretty sure they're still buying today!

SOLD some odd lots of YTLPower @ $5. Unfortunately, only left 100+ shrs. Fortunately, still have more than 1,150 YTL.

YTL shares in Tokyo seemed to have stabilised @ ¥120-123, yet my miracle stock Shinto 新東 continues to AMAZE with a THIRD limit UP @ ¥2,888!!!🤗💹 Such ramping possibilities(virtually impossible locally) is one of the reasons why I waded into the Tokyo stock exchange in 2017 in the first place!!!

YTL's '23-'24 run is miraculous enough for me, yet the thick icing on the cake is so delicious!!!

No need your token, facetious congratulations...I'm actually not even half a century old despite having 3 decades of experience abt to come under my belt come Sept 21 2024... Young f@rts also prone to make a lot of impulsive errors(witness 'young' sorrrrhaaaiiiii Ytl2023 tikam @ $1.22 after supposedly selling @ $1.26...who knows he may actually be in his 70s🤣!) 90+% of young f@rts will eventually GIVE UP on investing because it's so psychologically challenging & demoralizing at times. Myself had to bounce back 3 times from the worst meltdown ('97 Asian Financial Crisis), 2002/2003 & finally 2008...However, my reward is not a single losing year since 2008 & financial freedom without working for anyone since 2013.My trading/investing system is continuously being perfected, borrowing from many successful methods(Graham, Lynch, Marks, Grantham, Hetty Green) rather than relying on just one... using technical & fundamental analysis in balanced measure.😘

7 years of smashing success in a totally foreign alien stockmarket(Japan) with 7 takeovers there benefitting me is gratifying enough, not to mention profits from General Electric, Walt Disney, Great Eastern in S'pore & Kerry Properties in HK this year!

It TOPS the 3,938 other listed companies in Japan by % Gain today(30 May), rising by its limit UP of ¥400 to close @ ¥1,988! In the post-market action, it's trading @ ¥2,098... Excitiiiing!!!🤑

Great Eastern closes UP 73c on the SGX on fairly high vol of 165,100 shrs, nearly 3% above OCBC's offer. This can only be good for both Kuchai & SBagan as they are unlikely to need to accept the bid & can keep the viable option to sell on the open market instead.
