The problem with SAPNRG is oil price can go high... go lah up to USD70... USD75, but share price naik by 0.5 sen, 1 sen, 1.5 sen only
Then when oil price correction down, turun back to USD55 or USD60, SAPNRG price akan turun back to 10sen...11sen easily.

I've been in the O&G for the past 30 years & every year "experts" have been saying that it's a dying industry. O&G is a cyclic business, yes that's true. But not dying. Dont be fooled by the so called "experts". All the green & renewables will not be able to support global energy requirement for industries & daily life needs. Let's see if solar can be used to make all your daily life items that are fossil fuel based.
The majors might be realigning their focus to renewables to diversify, but the core business is still fossil fuel. Check out Petronas...more drilling activities are being planned for many fields in the coming years.
I've gone thru downturns in 1998, 2003, 2008, 2014 and now 2020 (due to Covid). It's cyclic, the industry has rebounded and it will rebound again. Covid will be gone one day....just like many pandemics before. Just enjoy the ride folks...

That's true....that's why should not be too attached to the O&G counters as it's a cyclic industry. Now it's under downturn... time to buy & ride out the cycle. Once it's uptrend, don't dream of becoming multi billionaire like John D. Rockefeller by hanging in there too long. Exit with the handsome return. When to exit? That you have to do the research, follow the market supply & demand lah. It's your own due diligince.

As an investor, dont be too attached to the O&G counters... but, when it's under cyclic downturn, you buy. Ride it out, once it's uptrend, sell. You'll be happy with the returns.

"Saudi Aramco officials are growing less optimistic that there will be a rapid recovery in oil production after the attack on the giant Abqaiq processing plant, a person with knowledge of the matter said.
All eyes are on how fast the kingdom can recover from the weekend’s devastating strike, which knocked out roughly 5% of global supply and triggered a record surge in oil prices. Initially, it was said that significant volumes of crude could being to flow again within days, but it may now take longer than previously thought to resume operations at the plant, the person said, asking not be named before an official announcement. The company is scheduled to provide an update later today."

Situation is bad.... supply from Saudi will be affected for "weeks" or even "months"
"One photo appears to show a row of four spherical tanks each with similar puncture marks, indicating a highly accurate strike. Those vessels are important because they are part of a process to remove hydrogen sulfide, a highly corrosive chemical that needs to be taken out of crude before it can be refined. Without that, most refineries would struggle to process Saudi crude."
