Last time I went to a specialist hospital for ear infection. After that, they charged me RM600, assuming I have insurance. But I told them, I claim under benefits from company only. Then they revised it to RM200...??? Yes, I agree, the charges issued by hospital need to be monitored and regulated.

I heard from one lecturer in a semi-govt college (MCA punya la) some intern students, when go to work, expect boss to teach them how to do their work, or give them solution, just like in colleges or schooles (babysitting colleges/univs). Mana boleh export to other country? Can we comparable to Bangla or going to worst? Some students said, "I never study in my secondary/primary school"...how do you expect me to study hard in college? Malaysia students (the 3rd tiers one) will be more and more. Top tier students will go overseas on scholarships or parent's money. Who want to study local private colleges/univs, except those really good one only? Some students go to private colleges to show off their father/mother luxury cars and their lifestyle.

The term "ultra-high-net-worth individual" (UHNWI) is a more specific term for people with a net worth of over USD$30 million (~RM140-150 mil?), including their primary residence. In Msia context, how this work out then?

While we try to save subsidies, we are spending more money in the end to build all kinds of database applications just to collect Malaysians data again and again like PADU. By the time this PMX govt figure out the subsidy greatest solution, I think RM billions would have been spent on just one simple database app like a univ final year project. Funny thing is we have so many silo databases sitting in govt depts that are not integrated. We keep on registering our information again and again in duplicate systems???

Everyone can start a company or kopitiam and ask Khanzanah/PNB for millions to support homegrown companies. But is that to qualify for "donations" need to be for type-M/bumi only? Grab is started by type-C right?

The company has registered losses for 5 years, and still want to buy a loss-making company just because it is homegrown? https://www.nst.com.my/business/corporate/2024/11/1129501/fashionvalet-posted-losses-5-straight-years-khazanah-pnb

Just let it go, I think Msia ppl are rich enough to absorb it, either from bank loans, credit cards, companies profits, govt allowances or Bursa, so no worries. :D

Problem is after introducing new taxes, what really happened to the money? Redistributed to other cronies? This is not so transparent on country's money management.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Why we still bother with this old man ya? Yeah, he didn't lie down, he is hardworking. What he do? He "walap" a lot of country's money, and created a "makan-duit" technology in Msia. Now all politicians can get rich, by lying down but not the hardworking taxpayers? Thank you Tun M. Wonderful legacy.

The big question is what happened to our taxes? Pergi lubang mana? Pergi siapa punya poket? Is it gone to good use or just to those cronies pockets? Goes to RM85 million PADU app done by crony company? I pay taxes and still need to donate to SRJK(C) school for their projects to build new halls, events, etc. We still pay road taxes, pay tolls, pay airport taxes, pay passports, pay all things even though we pay taxes already. So, this does not really add up, isn't it? Or someone can help to report out in detail, like company financials, where are our Malaysians taxpayers go to?

Really PADU, waste RM85 million on a useless database and want to cut RON95 fuel subsidy. So whose company or crony get this project?

Let the population creation fall on the super-rich, elites, like Elon Musk. The rest, help save the over-population. Why we need more economic/capitalist slaves?

Better to cut subsidies to all those BN/MCA/MIC/UMNO cronies monopolies.

Country's money management has become a family business, all politicians are doing this. This is so-called democracy? The 1% elites control the wealth and lives of 99% population... :D

KRI report says retiree need RM1K per month for retirement. Enough kah? "It also assumes that Malaysians only use RM1,000 per month for 20 years.". The politicians pensions are easily RM10K and above...(https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2024/09/26/over-90-of-epf-members-under-30-do-not-save-enough-for-retirement-says-report)

Plato's argument can be summarized as follows: "Ruling is a skill, and it is rational to entrust the exercise of skills to experts. In a democracy, power lies with the people, who, by definition, are not experts in ruling. Consequently, Plato concludes that democracy is inherently irrational. So democracy is not as good as what USA paint it, more like the power to control the masses for the 1% elities? About the EPF saving concerns, so maybe all those exorbitant pensions can go to fund the aging population. Khazanah Research Institute said in the report --> "It also assumes that Malaysians only use RM1,000 per month for 20 years.", so RM1K is enough to survive per month, so ALL MPs pensions and salaries do not need RM10K above? Is this really enough? I think reality is not that. KRI report has problem, but this is Malaysia Bolehland...

Fully support ZERO intiatives! MPs pension should be capped at certain limit regardless how many positions held and duration should be only at 60 above, not just 2-3 years, boleh pencen but the rest are made to work till 55 or 60. Waste of money on useless MPs. MPs also should not getting half pension from each positions held. Some MPs are getting RM100K+ in pensions per month!

To some private college and new universities like TAR UMT, it is purely money oriented in the background, get more pupils means get more PTPTN money. Cakap tak serupa bikin. In some govt primary and secondary schools, tutup mata, pass semua saje la... that's the reality nowadays...teachers don't want to be questioned left and right and write many reports, why students fail (due to no interest, laziness, etc) :D

I felt so funny when our PH Edu Minister said our pupils are not lab rats. Okay, we don't want to stress the young kids too much. But do you know the syllabuses nowadays are heavy especially in SRJK(C). Enjoy the education like European countries? Will we change to follow European system? Finland? Spain? Italy? Germany?

The opposite of capitalism - economic modern slavery? Marxists are particularly concerned with the struggles of lower and middle class workers, with the conflict between social classes, and with economic inequality. The ultimate goal of a Marxist is revolution that results in a classless society with fair distribution of goods.

Probably the "high income" status is only meant for the politicians, ex-MPs, those getting multiple pensions after 2-3 years holding the post, then jump to another post. Taxpayers are funding their pensions and salaries, right?

Insurance companies are taking advantage under PH govt to squeeze old and rich people's economically, either pay more or get the hell out from the system. The capitalists vultures need to be fed more and more. Who are the private owners of the private hospitals? The elite circle of people in Malaysia including the royal family?
