Yunqi, my personal view is that it must make better profit than that of last year corresponding quarter. With better result, then only it can support current price, which has been built on anticipation of better results.

It will drop until business picks up again. Both revenue and net profit have been decreasing over the last 3 quarters..4Q 2016 should be no exception.

KK is right, all business aspects are showing improvement.
With 2017 impairment is approximately 500Mil lesser than 2016, it's earning will pick up soon.

Don't think 4Q16 will be better than 4Q15, topline has been decreasing over the last three quarters in 2016, I believe there's no exception to 4Q16..The only positive attribute is the dividend. The company invested in capacity expansion but only saw reduction in it's revenue..Hope to see it's business picking up again in 2017.

If read carefully on the news, it is 3 months ban on bauxite 'mining', not 'export'.

The moratorium will be done at 3 stages. 1st stage, clear all stockpiles at the port; 2nd stage, clear all stockpiles outside the port; 3rd stage, fixe the existing stockpiles area and find one centralized stockpiles area.

Tmakmur will standout to be the clear beneficiary from this moratorium.

Don't be fooled just by reading the news header..export of bauxite will CONTINUE, Tmakmur will continue to profit from bauxite export until it's reservoir depletes.

ponpon, go read Alliance research IPO dated 23 Sep 2013. The first investment risk is Loss of major customers. Public was already made aware of the possibility of P3 alliance formation, should take that into consideration when investing in Westports.

All the P3 alliance thingie has been mentioned in IB Investment report, and has been factored in.
The huge dividend distribution also clearly mentioned in the prospectus.

CMA CGM accounts for 22.8% Wesports' revenue in 2012, that's around RM340M. If they were to shift to PTP, they will need to pay ~ 30% extra transhipment tariff, ie. RM102M, coz Wesports has the lowest tariff among it's peers. Unless PTP is able to provide good tariff, don't think CMA will shift everything to PTP.
