james70, yes symlife do have a lot of potential. I saw the bursa announcement, seems management team is very active and not sitting down doing nothing. Soon, research analyst will start to ocver it because of its potential. My hope is that they be able to realized the values that the company possess like SAB as you say.

Thx james70. Current valuations is undemanding and still cheap.
I read the 2013 Annual Report, they have converted the Sg Long land from agriculture land and so is paying a higher land premium, so I suppose they have plans to develop it. I believe the company is quietly working on its plan, to build a township (400+ acres) in phases. It will have a big impact on the company.
Just imagine Protasco 100 acres - GDV Rm10bil.

The Sg Long big piece of land and the Tesco Cheras land should appreciate a lot as the current MRT construction will eventually enhance its value.
The valuation of Rm88psf (Sg Long land) and Rm300psf (Tesco Cheras) might be too low. It may be much higher now.

Currently there are ongoing projects I think, but yes, some that I read about in bursa announcement there were delays, so maybe the results may not be substantially higher, but still good perhaps. The last time I work out I thought they will be taking in the final payment for the Sg Long land (abt 20mil) but it didn't appear in the last Q results. Not sure why.
And yes, an investor will reap more benefits holding on for now.
The Tesco land is quite substantial and appreciate more in time, wonder if they have plans for it.

Yup ray, people in the know will buy more tomorrow and that will be a confirmation that something is up. Perhaps OnG, another big mill contract, major acquisition of plantation land, etc etc...

vinvin, oh, I am not aware in Tasek area they are also going to build one mall? I read that they purchase land in Batu Pahat and I guess that would be the next one. Its good to know that. Think less than 5 years, they would double the 22 malls that they have now.
The hugh amount of cash that they have is put to good use. 5 years down the road, it would generate more cash.
Any idea when the Kamunting mall would open?

Taking the last quarter ressults as representing the latest situation the company is in, eg feed cost, selling prices etc... eps was 26.24cents.
If the same situation persist, a crude way to estimate would be to times x4.

Price is 1.05 now. NAPS is 1.99 and this is without the revaluation of its land asset. Look at the Annual Report and see how low is its book value of its key asset, then you can know better.

Aiyo DS, the market is only starting to realize how much TA is worth, still a long way ma. Earlier it can be said that TA was reorganizing themselves but not anymore. We can now look forward to them creating more values. Previously, TA was even higher than 1.50 before.
Yes DS, Protasco gives good dividend and the projects and contracts that they have now and in future, will ensure good dividends and appreciation. In this case, its price have to catch up with its value, so expect more.

aiyo ds, at one time the share price touch par value 0.50, now already 100% up. TA is doing fine, and its price not unreasonably high. If you look forward a bit at what it can bring, then you will say 1.50 is still low.

'Like' - KGB (Turnaround & Diversify)
An ultra high purity gas and chemical delivery solutions provider, is ready to become a major EPCC contractor.
It had bagged a sizeable EPCC contract from BASF Petronas Chemicals Sdn Bhd for Package 1 of its rm1.6 billion aromas production facility in Gebeng, Kuantan. The job has given Kelington access to the chemical processing sector.
It has pinned its hopes on also securing Packages 2 and 3, which are larger contracts.
The group has also set its sights on EPCC works in the RAPID project.
It is poised to report strong earnings in FY2014 having benefited from a recovery in its core semiconductor business and diversification efforts over the last two years (2012-2013), which saw it increasing its exposure to the healthcare, oil and gas and palm oil industries.
Following the diversification, it can now better respond to market fluctuations in the semiconductor industry.
The group went through hard times in FY2012 and Fy2013 when the semiconductor industry slowed, causing its order book to drop and its earnings to dip.
It diversified into other industries while still maintaining the semiconductor market as one of its main contributors.
KGB’s existing relationship with IHC to land more projects as the healthcare service provider has another two hospital projects in Malaysia in KLCC and Iskandar Malaysia.
It had secured a LOI for the hospital project in KLCC worth rm77 million.
The group is also intent on making renewable energy a major source of profit in the long term. It has set up a subsidiary in Papua New Guinea to provide RE services as solar which has also similar plans in Indonesia.
Its order book stood at rm188 million.
KGB is 47% owned by Palace Star Sdn Bhd. The remaining 40% is owned by others include LTH with a 12.36% stake and Sun Lead International Ltd with a 9.19%.

I read the Annual Report. Very low negligible debt, net cash position. Its a good thing that now that the company's main focus will be on LED sector, which will see them growing aggressively going forward, just an opinion.
